Sorry for using the work "kick in"...maybe it is more suitable for those Turbo car ba..
What I mean is when the IAFM started to work or something GREAT happen to the engine, I can notice a the RPM accelerate faster.

For example I am going around 50km/h which RPM around 2.2k like that. While the RPM going up slowly suddenly I feel the engine sound like "kick in" and the RPM go higher constantly in a faster pace and the car will feel more acceleration than normal (while doing 50km/h). Is this acceleration feel caused by the IAFM ? bcz I can be sure something happened in the range of 2.2k - 3.2k RPM which causes the car to be more LIVELY. Maybe no kick in effect la but I am sure it must be due to the IAFM.

Anyway to not pro-long this "kick-in effect" right or wrong or maybe it is just my imagination afterall , I just want to say it is nice to have driven Saga FL and forget about FC hahaha.

for those who always complain about high FC, how RM30 of petrol for 89.2km sounds like? lol

the car before I have the Saga FLX. lol

part of it is due to the faulty gearbox which sometimes wont shift up. And occasionally, when you stomp on the throttle, it will straight away drop two gears. The result is, engine going bonkers, roaring at 5,000rpm~8,000rpm

i gonna return it tomorrow and swear to god, my saga is so much better. The saga has better throttle response, it has better low end power, it has better suspension (for cornering). lol Even if my throttle isn't "nut-ed" yet, the response is still much better.

i open the CRV hood today to check on the power steering fluid and I noticed there's some date and mileage written on the block. I guess my friend's father has the engine rebuilt before. Rebuilt on 2009. I guess he was facing knocking issues too back then.

- Drum Brake
- 2 Airbags
- No Paddleshift
- No Cruise Control
- Not leather wrapped steering
- No buttons on steering
- No auto sensor(s) on windscreen and for lights

Such features reduction alone should cost down more than 5k, somemore consider CKD, only 5k from CBU is non sense.

from the beginning, 95,000 for a tax free hybrid is already a joke, considering the petrol variant costs RM105,000 with tax. lol

use 45k buy a saga and the rest of 45k use to bath in petrol also can lo. lololol.

Preve steering

allrighto. G'morning guys, just got my new unit of SE this week. Been driving it for weeks. It's awesome. Although persona is nice to but i prefer this small sedan car size for me. =D

TBH, the only benefit from the recent Preve ECU update is the VVT cleaning function. The new mapping sucks. For the old mapping, there is a solution for the lag.

Hi SAGA owner, I thinking to get a proton saga FLX 1.6 Se this month. Before i made the booking can anyone/new owner share your experience with me?

I have test drive the car and i heard the sound from the CVT when pickup, do anyone also feel the same?

I need more advise like problems with the 1.6 cvt model , what to check when getting the car.

do you mean every saga sure have sound from drumbrake? i read previous post quite many ppl taking about it...can fix right?

besides those you mentioned is the CVT grearbox will bring any problems? the sound of the cvt during pickup is normal?
