Oh yes, DAI released their album last week and my initial impression was it's better than expected. I feel their ballads are quite good, followed by uptempo tracks like EDGE and Marionette. The only thing lacking is darker/rockier songs which I love from ETERNAL FLAME. I hope they make more of those in their next album.
^ Nice! I liked a couple of songs from it namely Dance in the Rain, Walk of my life, Sometimes Dreams Come true.
Found a female-fronted indie rock band today while randomly selecting singles/albums to try. They're called aquarifa. I really like their sound. They just released a mini album called Mani no Himitsu. Love the artwork too.

Ayumi Hamasaki is releasing a new album out this week, 9.4.15. It has leaked so I already it a listen. My initial impression:
Standouts from this album are WARNING, The Show Must Go On, Movin' On Without You. Honorable mentions are Out of Control and Zutto...WARNING is a very aggressive in-your-face kinda song that doesn't give a damn about the noise it's giving. I for one, love it. I love how loud and noisy it is. It actually keeps me very awake (best cure for sleepiness). The Show Must Go On is worth recommending as well because of its pretty unique transitions in the track. It's fresh and bold and in fact, the album needs more music like this. As for the rest, it really feels same-y after a while, there's nothing epic that will stay in your memory forever like her older masterpieces. Still this is slightly better than her previous album.
