QUOTE(rogrog @ Jan 24 2015, 03:00 PM) QUOTE(avanpiper @ Jan 24 2015, 03:24 PM) Just to add a few more places where I get my usual fix of Jpop. Thank you to both of you I started out listening to AKB48 a few weeks ago. Some songs quite catchy, sadly the members i like all graduate already This post has been edited by GilaLaksa: Jan 24 2015, 04:25 PM |

QUOTE(avanpiper @ Jan 24 2015, 04:38 PM) You're welcome! Agreed. korean music is easier to find probably because so many people are in to it. Currently, spotify is my only medium to get new japanese songs. Haha, I'd say I'm more new towards j-idol. I've known bands like the gazzete, one ok rock and x japan for quite some time, also the anime songs.Yeah, most of the 1st and 2nd gen already graduated. Those gens were the ones that worked their way up until the group got famous. It's just something idol fans need to get used to. Graduations are inevitable. You should see how much Morning Musume's members have changed lol..some of the old gen members are married and mothers now Are you new to Jpop or just got into idol music? Btw, if you like AKB's songs, I suggest you check their older singles like RIVER, BEGINNER, Iiwake Maybe, Oogoe Diamond, Namida Surprise etc...I prefer their older songs, very catchy and more unique than what they're doing now, at least imo. Now they just sound like they're rehashing the older templates and not as inspiring as before. Like they're running out of ideas. Jpop is harder to find than say...Kpop but if you know the right place to search, trust me, you won't be disappointed. There are lots of gems out there waiting to be found, especially the indie scene Yeah, i feel 48's older music are better. UZA, give me five, RIVER and kaze wa fuiteiru are the best for me. Their newer releases are more towards cutesy vibe i guess? Nice also, but I'm bias towards the first gen Grad and election system is new to me though. Usually groups from other countries just disband or something. |

Sorry if I'm allowed to post this here, but does anyone watch AKBingo?
I'm having a hard time finding eng subs for certain episodes. This post has been edited by GilaLaksa: Mar 15 2015, 02:34 PM |
