Yeah, most of the 1st and 2nd gen already graduated. Those gens were the ones that worked their way up until the group got famous. It's just something idol fans need to get used to. Graduations are inevitable. You should see how much Morning Musume's members have changed lol..some of the old gen members are married and mothers now  The current members are all younger than me 

Are you new to Jpop or just got into idol music? Btw, if you like AKB's songs, I suggest you check their older singles like RIVER, BEGINNER, Iiwake Maybe, Oogoe Diamond, Namida Surprise etc...I prefer their older songs, very catchy and more unique than what they're doing now, at least imo. Now they just sound like they're rehashing the older templates and not as inspiring as before. Like they're running out of ideas.

Jpop is harder to find than say...Kpop but if you know the right place to search, trust me, you won't be disappointed. There are lots of gems out there waiting to be found, especially the indie scene
