Lately citibank very aggressive in offering credit card.

They are very efficient in tracking people finance. The moment I got my AMEX corporate card from Maybank, they sent me letter to upgrade my citibank card which I denied.

Now, they called me saying my current card would be soon cease its service and they offering new credit card bla bla bla. I think salesman making stories to earn commission.

hi guys i got a question here. im interested with Citibank Cash Back Platinum Card but it seems that the annual fee is kinda high. anyone know if it is waive-able? thanks
*
Just Use Your NEW CC at least 3 Times within 60 Days to Enjoy a 1 Year Annual Fee Waiver (No AF for 1st Year)... nod.gif
As for Subsequent Year, You just Need to Call Customer Service Request Annual Fee Waiver from Them, 1-2 Months before the Card's Anniversary Date...EZ tongue.gif
(P.s Frequently Used Your's Credit Card, the Bank will Delighted to Waive Off the Annual Fee for You..) brows.gif

Anyway, With Similiar Benefits I Prefer UOB One Platinum Card than Citibank Cash Back Plat. b'coz UOB credit the cash back monthly into the account, more Practical... laugh.gif Pls Refer to: https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1973206/+2220 Post #2237 for UOB One Platinum Card

If I were You I X Get This Card... sweat.gif

Some of the T&C's of Citi's Business Plat....
(a) 2% Cash Back on all overseas hotel and dining spend- The Cash Back for overseas hotel or dining spend must be made in foreign currency only for Card members to earn the 2% cash back. Card members whose overseas spend is made in local currency (Ringgit Malaysia) will earn cash back as per paragraph (b) below:

(b) 0.3% Cash Back on all other retail spend for the first RM300 monthly spend. Any retail spend above the RM300 monthly spend will then earn 1% cash back. Cash back does NOT apply to Petrol Purchases.

Card members must accumulate at least RM50 to redeem the cash back earned. The minimum cash back redemption is RM50. Only when the cash back is redeemed (whether in full or partially), will the value of the cash back be credited into the Card members’ Card Account. Unredeemed cash back will be carried forward to the following month.

If the Rebate on Shell Fuel Spend earned by the Principal Card Holder meets the Minimum Rebate Amount for Redemption of $20, the Rebate on Shell Fuel Spend will be Automatically Redeemed against the Principal Card Holder’s Next Shell Fuel charges as Reflected in Your Card in the Following Month after Citibank has Processed All Transactions during the Preceding Month; or if Less than $20 It will Carry Forward, until the Rebate on Shell Fuel Spend is Accumulated to at least the Minimum Rebate Amount for Redemption, so & so.... nod.gif

Tier = Monthly Total Spend (Shell Fuel Spend + Non Shell Fuel Spend) = Rebate on Shell Fuel Spend = Maximum Shell Fuel Spend to Earn Rebates
1 = RM300 to RM999 = 4% = RM250
2 = RM1,000 to RM2,499 = 6%/td> = RM500
3 = RM2,500 and above = 8 % = RM800
