How did you shortlist the Fiesta?
I wonder if some people who wish others to follow the same (i.e. asking people to buy Fiesta all the time, actually want others in the same boat or actually have a good experience with it)
*
My obsession started when I got smoked by a Ford Fiesta..................... tongue.gif

Anyway, I considered several C-segs such as the Preve, Inspira and Forte. Since I don't have a family and usually it's just me and my gf, I decided to give my obsession a closure and got the Fiesta.

By the way, I drive a Kelisa regularly as well, manual summore, I can understand where your love for the Kelisa stems from thumbup.gif

CRZ outta budget. the rear seats are only for kids or double amputees doh.gif

I dun usually utilize my rear seats....but I still need rear seats for the occasional stowaways passengers. And 4 doors!

Next time they ask you to pasang magnetrap, ask the technician if he pasang on his own car and demand to see it for yourself. whistling.gif

So far pigduck has been reasonable la, I spent a whole hour or so last night "talking" to him laugh.gif Even after he trashed my lovely ex-car Saga vmad.gif

Pigduck, personally I don't think Preve is suitable for you. If you expect something easy to drive like the Myvi, you won't get it with the Preve. Coming from a Waja and Vios, I had to change my driving style when I got my Saga, then change again when I got the Fiesta.

Myvi is the closest you will get to a Kelisa without sacrificing safety (Kelisa is not that safe to begin with, mind you...): small car, zippy and easy to manuever in urban conditions, but you will lose the go kart handling of the Kelisa at high speed.

There is nothing wrong with choosing Preve or Myvi, different ppl different expectations. My gf's sis booked a Myvi last week. Had she bought a Preve, she'll probably drive it into a longkang.

I find it amusing that ppl still think proton cars are milotin. last time a saga club member shared a photo of his friend's Saga that flipped over 3 times, but cabin still intact and door still can open and close. The driver also walked away unscathed.

I had a strong urge to post it in the main FnF forums and say "fak you! bashers!"....alas I didnt becoz I know they will just find something else to bash.

i hav to admit proton cars kena the most..lol

but also we hav to understand how the japanese build up their reputation since long ago...in the early days..their cars also sucks like sh!t...but they gradually improve on its quality until it gives the people an impression that they are very reliable, hence there are so many hardcore japanese car supporters nows...but i think their technology on cars is kinda stagnant for quite some time which lead to other cars manufacturer catching up/overtook, especially the koreans

It just so happened that the new updates for Preve and FLX SE were released almost the same time, hence the confusion.

That, and some technicians are boneheads.
