Anyway, the seat quality of Preve is not really good.

i read mat79 post earlier. yeah due to cost cutting they take out leather seats.

perhaps once warranty period over, will get synthetic leather to have that leather feel, then after 7yrs, buy new car lor.

so proton opt for fabric seats claim to be water repellent, and better quality, not true lor, somemore got sound from the backrest.

hi all, about the seat, i think they will checked back with the supplier 1st on the furring probs, yup, its water repellant, but not water resistance. N its cheaper than leather wrap, but not as cheap as normal proton fabric seat. But of course, one can opt for higher grade, but hence cost is on another note. U can warp its with leather, just make sure the 3rd party shops know how to handle the side airbags stiching.

On tcu/ecu update, make it more powerful, doesnt make it thirstier, the most important part is to cntrl ur right foot, make it lighter than previous input coz the power is already there.

On rattling part, will check it later. By, hve job to do.

i think i never complaint sluggish, to me its already adequately powerful

Side air bags are inside the front seat, shoulder area.

OIC, because I seldom on highway so not sure if the alert are accurate, that's why I always stick to 110km/h... Yup! With that amount of money, we can do a lot of things. 

Yes I can understand, your travel journey is quite long, I also drive fast occasional, just a few second, I know this is potong stim, but don't have that much money to pay summons ler... 
My friend who used to drive from Penang to JB, most of the time driving at 140-160km/h, he said with the implement of AES, it going to take 10 hours to reach JB, better book cheap air ticket. 

Regarding Preve, actually my seat also berbulu here and there, and the spring inside the seat also making noise, this I have to agreed the seat in our Preve are quite low in quality. 
I wonder if anyone experience rain water drip inside while driving on heavy rain? Went to SC to fix this twice already, but the leak still there, they need how many complains only willing to maybe replace the door frame rubber (I can clearly see it out of shape)?
The shop who do this should know how to deal with it.
I saw someone done that (leather seat) on the Internet, but can't remember where, sorry! 

forumer kiapreve already updated his car ecu/tcu at taman bukit maluri last last week...i tested his car also

and they changing his car 4 side power window also...

make sure u request them for ecu/tcu updated and also the power window recall

anyones preve has blinking headlights occasionally?

yea la, like it goes dim very briefly. like kelip-kelip a bit. my mom asked me "did u flash the car in front? why?" -.-"

door frame rubber is called weatherstrip... so far mine ok, no rainwater leak.

however, the run channel rubber or watever they called it, poor workmanship

and c pillar noise from the small windows, need to re-seal again, poor workmanship...sigh

when i start get my car headlamp also got dimming abit..less that 1 sec dimming...due to compressor kick in...complaint sc they say normal ,preve compressor n kipas banyak kuat dan besar!!

but now after 6 month i drive,the dimming macam sudah takde...and i no install any VS or grounding

basket they are lazy to change it for me... sigh...

I think I was one of the earlier ones. So far, it's been smooth. Wont say it'll totally solve the occasional brightening of the HU's display but I do believe the frequency of such incidents has lessened.
A car's starter demands a lot of juice from the battery. No suprise if headlights dimmed a bit. Personally, I think it may be wiser to not have headlights set to 'Auto' before attempting to start the vehicle.

Yeah .. the radiator's fan is very strong; blows so much hot air towards your leg as you alight from the vehicle. So much so that I nowadays stop the engine when I'm pumping air into the tires. Otherwise, you get a face full of hot air.

mine is 2 weeks old..power windows bulging outwards not solve....not planning to do anything at the moment unless there is a real solution from Proton.
The power windows is working fine, can go up/down...warranty 10 years..no worries..

I think the Proton dealer in Atiara have a lot of White color Preve...I am a White Preve owner as well..1st choice was silver...

who has done the ecu/tcu remap?
i got my car a month ago (now 3.3k mileage) and everything is ok on my end.
fuel consumption is about 8L/100km for town driving and can reach about 7L/100km.
for my top speed, i tried going 210km/h the other day going to ipoh racing with inspira 2.0P

im scared after update cant get back the same feeling..

Tomorrow morning will drive down.
Still in Ipoh today.
Will be in EA tomorrow evening, after 4 or 5pm
