just for sharing info with other member here - i've stayed at Classic Hotel in Kuantan the other day and found room to be quite old where its carpet gives out a smell due to its age...but once the air-cond is on, the smell goes away...

as for the bed, its found to be very comfortable while view over the Kuantan river is so so...the bathroom hot water heater is of the gas heated type where old type hot & cold water mixer taps are still being used....

overall, for the price of RM90 plus free breakfast, i guess the room should have been better...

maybe in my next trip there, i would try out the Seasons Boutique Hotel as recommended by some LYN members... hmm.gif

Why not you book yourself by calling them or email reservation? Berjaya online booking only will start on March btw.

Which part of Shah Alam? That's one pretty huge area biggrin.gif

If near Sri Muda area (based on latest malfreemaps) , there are few such as:
1) Sri muda Corner
2) Mutiara Inn
3) Royal Comfort Hotel

In Sec 19 =D'Palma (but not really budget -3star)

Closer to UITM, Sek3 , Few rated hotels but probably these are not (Not sure):
1) Intekma &
2) Delta Apt hotel

Don't ask me on the contact, I just extracted from what available in the maps...probably u can google on those hotels blush.gif

I never stay there but I used to stay in Melaka for 5 years. I can comment only on environment and also exterior on the hotel. From my view, this hotel is situated at Old Town which surrounding are very dirty and a lot of empty shop around there. The hotel was 2-3 story building with ground level is restaurant . What the purpose you stay there? You can get better hotel in Melaka Raya area which the location was also strategic. This yellow Mansion are the same row with famous Satay Celop.
