Tiara beach Resort is not really a beach resort-lah! & it is far away from beach (Impossible to goto to beach!. It is inland on the left side of the road leading to Melaka..about 5KM after Blue Lagoon junction. But if u prefer the man-make beach in Tiara..should not be a problem...The look of Tiara resort is something like the medium cost Apartment & gigantic swimming pool in middle...( dun take my word..I hv not stay there myself..just pass-by & saw the photos from the Advert

Corus, stayed there about 4 yrs ago. Previously was Ming Court PD. Yes the fake lagoon is a no-no & dirty 9 But what u expect from the overall all dirty water of PD?). but it still nice if u want to take picture. The Hotel room (not Apt block) is OK as other 3 star hotel standard...and very busy swiming pool ...rather small but my daughter enjoy it....

Try Air Asia Tunes hotel.....just take the monorail to Bkt Bintang area..

Which part of Shah Alam? That's one pretty huge area

If near Sri Muda area (based on latest malfreemaps) , there are few such as:
1) Sri muda Corner
2) Mutiara Inn
3) Royal Comfort Hotel

In Sec 19 =D'Palma (but not really budget -3star)

Closer to UITM, Sek3 , Few rated hotels but probably these are not (Not sure):
1) Intekma &
2) Delta Apt hotel

Yes Citin is located right opposite Puduraya. No idea how's the quality bcos I never stay in any KL hotels b4 local-lah...Your fren isa guy so why so scare walking alone? I've been walking for ages with & without family around Petaling street..However beware of Pick-pocket I lost my handphone b4. Do not keep your hand phone/wallet inside a porch or watch out on handbag ..very easy target to those snatch thief..They are easy to detect..normally wearing jacket in the middle of hot sun & working in a group standing behind crowded bus commuters & etc

Ho..like dat whole KL also not safe lei..Everywhere also got pick-pocket even in Hong Kong & Macau..meaning also cannot go Macau & Hong Kong kah?

U can call those budget hotels surrounding Kepong for better rate.. I think most of them available vioa google?

I will be merging this soon...Anyway there are limited budget (infact all hotels in Puchong are budget). i.e most of them below RM90.

They are:

1) Hotel Sri Puchong (opposite Giant Bdr Puteri)
2) Orchard Inn (Behind Sri Puchong)
3) YL hotel beside Tesco Puchong.

Ok-lah Sunn In more established....but still a budget & probably got hourly rate too...Only that to/fro will cost additional RM1.60 X 2 toll & the 10min only applicable during off peak..During real extremem peak...traveling from puchoing Jaya to Sunway Pyramid can be as long as 45min...

He is asking for suite-lah..nowadays very affordable liao..u can get it for ~RM300/nite nowadays..veli cheap..

I dun stay in any KL hotel b4 (local-mah)..unless u want Penang...I can suggest you Northon all suites ..RM250/nite nia.

For Malaysian Hotels, you book online or getting from the agents are cheaper than you walk-in except those none star rated hotels.

Certain Oversea destinations, most of their hotels are negotiable upon walk-in for eg, Bali & China. so really depending on where & type of hotels you book.

For Singapore, try asiarooms.com supringly super cheap budget hotel of <RM100 there...

Cheaper u can try nearby Pudu side at the back of Sun comples..I think Star Inn, emerald hotel & more...or further at petaling st & Puduraya, u can find more...Orange.com (same concept as Tunes hotel)..BTW, walking distance from Puduraya to Bkt Binyang is not so far ~1.5km onl;y)

Elsewhere try Tunes lah..I think u can get <RM50 if u try now..Just take the Monorail from Medan tungku to Bkt bintang

Try new caspian..centrally located within the Old Ipoh city..walking distance to Low wong & all the dim sum outlet. I stayed there last year RM68/nite..clean although look dull..not sure whether got chicken bcos I saw lotsa families as well unkers bringing young chicks..
