QUOTE(marauderz @ Jun 4 2013, 12:51 AM) Are you're talking about the SAMSUNG recovery tool instead of the built in Windows one right? I couldn't get that one to create properly, always fails around 90%. I used the Windows one instead and opted to copy the recovery partition information to it as well so I could wipe out the recovery partition from the hard drive. To access the Windows one. Goto Start Screen, and type RECOVERY, then select "Settings" you should see a "Create a recovery disk" option. Yeah, same as mine. Windows recovery tool works correctly (took about 10-15 mins) but Samsung recovery tool is SLOW (it estimate that it needed 11 HOURS!!!) Also, how to "copy the recovery partition information to it"? I also noticed that there are 2 recovery partitions, 12GB and 1GB, anyone know what the 1GB partition is doing there? This post has been edited by thloh85: Jun 4 2013, 09:23 AM

When you start the Microsoft Recovery tool you'll see the option to copy the recovery partition on the first page, as to why there're so many paritions? I have no idea man.

Hmm.. interesting, usually the recovery partition is supposed to reset back to original state, but I suppose all the drivers and essential stuff are around?

Some bloatwares (such as McAfee, junk M$ office trials and Adobe Elements) are MIA since I reset using the USB I created. Don't really care for those, all the essentials are intact. For now I'm keeping the recovery partitions since I don't need that much space (yet!!!).

I made 3 recovery drives and junked the partition, 128GB isn't quite enough for a developer. Using a 64GB SDXC to store other non esstential programs and data.
