some interesting finding , for panel antenna users stay at landed property , try to put your panel facing upwards ( facing ceiling / sky ) , and see how is the speed ( do not bother RSSI yet )

online game upload speed also important.. always lagging.. download speed ok, but then the upload and ping..

Yes, I also hv try this before. my speed have increase.
because I no use panel, I just use modem face up.
sierra modem size more bigger, so detect signal also more easy.

can huawei E355 check QoS?

yup , that explain why when I put my modem in vertical orientation , the speed sux while the speed fly if I put it horizontally , so same apply to panel

Meh, it is chromed plastic actually

it plastic cover can open to reduce the heat.
inside is metal also easy for heat conduct.
sierra modem size also more bigger, so it more easy to detect the signal.
inside metal also hv help to improve receive signal.


anyone know how to check QOS by sierra modem?
I use few tool also cannot check the QOS.

It impacted me though.

I simply lose internet when it's too hot.

Even it's showing as connected.
