Now I totally cannot use maxis broadband online.
My area is Penang island.
Can connect but cannot browse.

Anyone at Penang island face some problem?
from 6m start already have problem.
from stater is no signal. so still can connect other far and low speed tower to online.
now have signal but cannot browse.

Base chuahcs79 bro request, i capture the download speed test video.
I just ask this is LTE speed, get so big response.
Even maxis implement LTE, maxis server also cannot support so fast speed.
Now maxis mention un-capped speed is cheat people.
maxis have limit speed 16mbps.
from my testing, even speed over 30mbps, it only can stay this speed around 10s.
after that it will back to 16mbps. so maxis is cheat people,
maxis just let your speed test result beautiful but actual usage you cannot reach that speed.

Now my speed no limit by tower. my speed is limit by maxis server.
but even so fast speed, at normal time cannot use BT. so also no much advantage for me. for normal browsing, 16mbps is enough.

this video I only capture 24s. after 24s it will drop to 2MB/s. I try many time also get same problem.
so is big possible maxis limit the speed. maxis let u get good result from speed test.
but actual use cannot get this speed for long time.

I think no related with setup or equipment. cos my home very near tower. I can get very good signal.

First 10s maxis is no control speed. but if my speed over 30mbps more than 10s, maxis will force my speed to 16mbps.
maxis speed up to 42mbps is cheat people.

Added on November 18, 2012, 4:43 pmso my speedtest result can get good result, because the speedtest will finish the test less than 10s.

this is wireless mah, for sure you will nt get the full speed, unless u tarik 1 LAN cabel from the tower (i dont know how to do it), for sure you will get full speed.

i think maxis will detect our speed, if the speed more than 24mbps, after 10s, it will force the speed to 16mbps. if our speed go to zero then we able to reach 24mbps 10s again.
I think maxis use this solution to make people speedtest get beautiful result.

I also duno why that night can up so high speed.
after that day cannot online, when at 9pm I test the speed already very fast.
when 1am, I test the speed again it up to 60mbps.
but now cannt get this speed again.

ya lo. 16mbps already can watch 1080P youtube very smooth.
youtube also hv limit our download speed.
when I watch 1080P youtube, i see the download speed is maintain at 12mbps.
when I watch untill 2 minute, youtube already buffer all 4minute video.
so 16mbps is very enough to watch 1080P youtube.
