yes its bokeh, more accurately, its distracting bokeh... why? because its distracting lah, point of focus is the cake but u can clearly see the person behind the cake smiling. so its distracting  biggrin.gif

Hi fellows,
I have a question regarding external flash would like to ask you all. My uncle was facing a problem on using SB-700 to take picture with fast speed. The flash cant catch up the speed of picture being taken . So in result the the first 2 picture is nice but at the 3rd one it look very dark. I already tried to modify the settings but i have no idea how to make it right. Any advice on how can i solve this problem? Because i am going to get one SB-700 for my D7k as well XD. Thank in advance.

i think it's because ur flash needs recharge after firing.. so you could bumb up ur iso on ur camera so that the flash doesnt need to fire at a higher power..n hence, reducing the recharge rate.. that happens to my nissin one lar..i think it applies to all other flash.,

hello hello

like what f5calvin said ur flash recycle time cannot keep up with the FPS of your camera due to it using to much power..

The only solution i can provide you with is bump up ur ISO so that ur flash could keep up with ur FPS by using less power biggrin.gif
is that so? umm then i need to try it again .. and btw my d7k say can take 100 shot continuously. but i tested only manage to take 10 if not mistaken. am i mistaken it or my d7k have problem?

maybe u were shooting RAW?
or maybe ur memory card..use a faster card, u can take more shots continuosly.. n shooting RAW means more space, means more time to save the photos into ur card..

Yup i am shooting raw files.. hehe now i know already..thanks for the info..btw i have some photos taken at taman pertanian shah alam yesterday...i will post it here later XD

Hey fellows,
I was just replaced my old sd card with sandisc 64gb 95mb/s sd card. I was hope this card will at least allow me to catch up the speed when using high speed continuous capture. But apparently i tested , it only to allow me take 2 / 3 more picture with high speed caption. Then i look up the manual, its says the r in the panel means buffer size for picture allow.. is there anyway to make that size up so i can shoot raw file in continuous

Best regards,
Tong Weng

What camera are you using?

You can refer to this website for more info on the number of shots you can do,
http://www.robgalbraith.com/bins/index.asp

Basically, no matter how fast your memory card is... if your DSLR has small buffer, you won't be able to shoot much on RAW. But JPEG, should be 100 I guess.
*
currently i am using nikon d7000... it says it able to rush up to 100 with basic, and i tested it work. just that raw unable to catch up

CF is faster compare to SD but my body is not competible with CF. Is that means when i want to take picture with burst mode i have to but to basic or lower file since raw only can take 10 at a time.
