shot at 50mm and aperture f/2.8

if use 50mm, the bokeh lagi cantik
heard 35mm 1.8g quite harsh bokeh..
50mm 1.8g has smoother bokeh..

Morning guys, I need some advice regarding Nikon lenses. Really tempted with the new D600 and thinking of changing to full frame camera from micro four third. Between 50mm f1.4g and 50mm f1.8g, which is one is better to start with as my first lens. Also heard that D600 got problems with dust/oil. Has Nikon solved this with the newer batches? Thanks

it's on a D600 ? 35mm 1.8g? i feel the color like not balanced leh..one side bluish one side orangy.. 

I like the feel of the photo 
But perhaps placing a bit more focus on the cake (making it bigger) would be slightly better I think

personally i think is very nice, the lamp actually consider as a side character

I'm thinking of getting a zoom lens for my D7000, deciding between 70-200 f2.8 from Sigma or Tamron, or get cheaper Nikon 70-300mm f4.5-5.6 VR.

Anyone has used any of these lens? Nikon's 70-200 f2.8 is too expensive for me, so I'm looking for alternatives.

F/2.8 suppose to be fast
if slower focusing a bit beat the purpose

What's the estimation of 2nd hand price for D7000 with 35K SC? Still in very good condition and the labelling on the buttons didn't worn off at all. I'm considering a full upgrade to full-frame if my budget allows.
