Hi guys,
I'm currently interested in Forte 2.0.

I heard that the latest model, 2013 (not K3) has some new and improved features from the previous model.

Can anyone confirm this and if yes, what are the new features?

Thanks.

Nothing new only chrome some of interior part n DRL

Hi,

Dunno whether it is due to highway driving using cruise control or due to my car reaching 10K service, but my car fuel consumption seems to be improving. Last week I drove from Muar to Legoland and back  to Muar and after that back to KL all in 1 tank of petrol. Mileage easily break 600km before DTE <50km.

Getting about 7.5L/100km for that trip on the odometer. Refueled 48L of petrol. Caltex RON95.

More interesting is after refuel, my L/100km seem to be better even on city drive. half tank already gone odometer show 10.2 L/100km. Previously I am getting closer to 11L or 11.xL/100km.

Just wondering whether it is due to highway driving continuously using cruise control over 600km or due to engine getting used to engine oil nearing the 10K service.

I think it should be due to cruising on highway for long period of time. Previously never did cruising at 110km/h for long period.

Anyone knows.

Many factor could impact FC. Weather and tempreture is one of it. 2ndly, change of speed (thats why highway always give the best FC)...

Another thing very important is how HEAVY you floor your pedal (yes alot will said i never floor but in your trip meter option there is a free for you to monitor the throttle...)

understood all that. And previously also have monitor the instant fuel consumption. But all I can say is i'm driving like normal and after the highway experience fuel consumption "seems" to improve. Maybe the engine just "broke" in @ 10K. will monitor and see whether improvement stays or back to getting 400+ mileage only.
*
based on experience highway with Rm80-90 should give you around 500-600km but in city you mostly get around 400-500km.

Guys went to Hin Liong to check on the prices.. Silverstone M5 really suck ass travelling back home town constant speed 130km/h the bugger is too damn noisy...
All the good tires like Goodyear/toyo/yoko are all above rm4xx. Ended up i scout and saw a 15" inch rim.. sleek sleek. Wanted to keep the original rim and only trade in the donuts...

195/65/15... the boss say will look ugly but somehow i dorno why i love the rubbers. Anyone with 15" can comment a little? comfort, pickup and so on.. any improvements or drawback?
Alot ppl will just think simply suka suka upgrade or down grade the rim.size but the never know the bigger the rim size, or the lower the tyre profile...the SHORTER the spring.

Say 17" u change to 16" with same profile tyre, mostly it will hit your fender unless u increase your Tyre profile which give you more comfortable ride but you are loosing handling

Can someone explain to me how the air-con works? Everytime I used AUTO, it will auto switch to the feature of sucking outside air. Possible to avoid this?
*
Not possible. When you running AUTO it will suck the outer air to cool down the cabin tempreature asap before you switch it to COLD aircond

I looked through that thread at SGKiaclub before when i was researching and it's just like i said..mix results lol..some says the IXUH22 is suitable but some says the correct one is the IXUH22i instead..so i was wondering if there would be any issues if i installed the IXUH22 instead.
*
To be safe, use IXUH22 (No I ) as the GROUND ELECTRODE is shorter, if long i worry might hit the piston surface

Hi,

Just wondering whether anybody got this small issue. When u press down on the front bonnet, you can feel that the bonnet can move down a bit. It is as if the bonnet is not close tightly. I tried to open and close again still same. Anyone tried this on their bonnet. Is it a QC issue? I dont think it is a big problem...
*
easy job. Check the radiator panel near the headlight there is 2 rubber knob can be adjust.

bro avoid that tire. 912 and 522 noise level is pretty bad as well. Google them perhaps?
Hurm... not too sure too but other than the tear and wear parts.. everything else should be with 5 year warranty no?
*
I don't think there is PERFORMANCE TYRE that is quite.

Quite usually soft compound and sidewall which compensated performance.
