1. Brand
Doesn't matter.
2. Budget
<RM1.5
3. Specs
As good as possible.
4. What you need in the phone
For university girl use.
Was considering Nexus 4 but don know when it wil be available in Malaysia and how much it wil be?
Better wait for nexus 4, just in case it's really cheap. If it doesn't fall within your budget, go for HTC one X.Doesn't matter.

I had used both of the hp before.. just that kinda get bored with samsung display icon and display.. The display is a bit too cartoonish... (currently using S2)I used htc hd2 before, issue with that phone is overheat and battery drain like waterfall.. Which seriously trouble me a lots.. Another thing i dont like about htc is the background display for application is black in colour...
things i dont like about samsung is the phone ocassionally shut down itself, the display and colour not really that nice, and the PPI is kinda low. Unlike HTC and Sony.. The screen size is too huge and wonder if i really gonna use all the S applications...
Other stuff I dunno but I truly agree on the AMOLED display, I even prefer using my old galaxy ace 320x480 normal LCD...the colours are much more natural, although slightly pixelated. About the auto shut down thing, it can happen on any brand not just Samsung.things i dont like about samsung is the phone ocassionally shut down itself, the display and colour not really that nice, and the PPI is kinda low.
