Normally, I train around 4pm a few of hours after lunch. Then have dinner a couple of hours after finish around 6pm (I always include 40-45 minutes moderate cardio after weight training because Im trying to lose weight).

Don't know if it is better/worse/optimal than morning but it's better than not working out so all is good biggrin.gif

In my holidays, after the prayer at dawn I'll have a fairly large breakfast, then I'd feel sleepy so I'd take a 1 hour nap. When I wake up it's usually still very early in the morning, around 7-8 am. I'd have enough energy and motivation to get started. I'd have a simple post workout meal afterwards and snacking along the way to lunch. This can only happen if I get a 6 hour sleep at least the night before.

In my normal days I usually workout around 4-5 pm.

I've experienced no gain or loss no matter what time I do them, so really I think what time you do your workout doesn't really matter as long as it is a proper, full workout and you get proper nutrition and rest afterwards.

rclxms.gif Second that. Everyone's schedule different so obviously what it ultimately comes down to is workout when you can workout.
