In the US, the Nexus 4 is $299 for 8GB or $349 for 16GB, with the same 13 November release date...

$299 - RM 911.7994
$349 - RM1064.2742

so after mark up price will be ?

RM911.7994 + 50% mark up = RM1367.6991 ? vmad.gif

RM1064.2742 + 50% mark up = RM1596.4113 ? vmad.gif

That's just device cost. You forgot to factor in sales tax and shipping as well. In the US, all prices are quoted before tax. In total you're looking at about $330 for the 8GB version and $375-380 for the 16GB one.

849 - 606.8498 = 242.1502??? what kind of shipping cost??? tongue.gif

ps: asus nexus 7 is shipping from china to malaysia, not from US to malaysia, because the device is made in china...

i think the shipping cost high, maybe they ship the device to US, then ship again to malaysia? laugh.gif

bro, that 199 usd price is just announced yesterday... it's unfair to compare in such a way

I will see if I can get an insurance coverage on the shipment. I however would have to open up the boxes so that I can check if they are all in working condition. The worst thing that can happen is that a buyer gets a DOA unit after waiting so long. Rest assured though that it will just be to make sure it powers on properly without any defects.

If there is enough interest I might do Nexus 10 as well. My only issue is that the shipping cost would be a bit higher because of the bigger box.

Exactly. I really have no problems if I bulk the Nexus 7 because Asus is good enough to offer limited international warranty. Samsung and LG both only have local.

I'm sure the manufacturer will have a way for us to turn-off the phone with "non removal" battery...
FYI, you can force-turn off the iphone with holding the home and sleep button together...
no need to wait for battery to finish... shakehead.gif

In before someone said show me where you could buy a quad core Krait with HD IPS screen coupled with Nexus experience and instantaneous Android updates for less than 1.5k

Yes, well aware that 349 might even be very close to the cost to make and shipped to USA. If market here by LG themselves, sure jack up at least 499 to even make the slightest profit and provide honourable warranty service. I'm just guessing but we all knew that USA gets special treatment when it comes from USA companies.

regardless of price, which of course I hope they can minimize the markup from US. But if S3 and N4 is the same price, unless SD card is an absolute must for you, its a no brainer to get the N4.

Hey guys, a bit of an update regarding my bulk thread. A spanner has been thrown in the works because I discovered I may have to charge an extra RM300 or so in addition to the current price I was aiming for because of the import permit from SIRIM. I'm trying to see what possible avenues I have with it and if it's not possible to keep the price low, I'm canceling the bulk.
