Shame on LG..!!

ceo's in lg are so dumb.this was thier only chance in reviving thier smartphone line ,but they just generate money faster(i doubt that they will succeed either),instead of thinking of thier long term future in the android ecosystem. doh.gif

'presenting the newest google device the nexus 4,with 2gb ram,s4 pro chipset, and the new and revolutionary "wireless charging" ........the nexus 4 has no limits, prices starting from rm2299.' tongue.gif

on a more serious note,i hope google "advices" lg about the pricing where play store isnt avaliable.i wonder why did asus keep the nexus 7's price under 1k,eventhough they can sell it at 100% profit like lg.

Nexus 7 was never a high end product but this is one!
Just look at Nexus 7 display and you'll know it. It's not a piece of high end display. It's its chipset and that it's Nexus device that make its sales rolling.

its not a perfect 7 inch tablet, but specs to price ration, its one of the best in the market.

Mobile and portable devices have a charger that support 110v - 240V. If not, how am I gonna charge my phone when I'm using it in US? Need to buy a new charger? It just the pin arrangement that is different.
*
so must buy the cheap rm1 plastic thing (2 pin ) thing rite? ,how about warranty?

QUOTE(G-17 @ Nov 4 2012, 10:24 PM)
Google do not care about hardware profits. For the Nexus 7, they gave almost all the hardware sales profit to Asus, so I imagine they're doing the same as LG. They make their money from ads and online services, so all they want is as many phones in people's hands as possible. The reason why the want to stop the Nexus devices being "developer only" is simple; they want pure Android in as many hands as possible. This is because as more manufacturers continue skinning Android, they'll eventually replace Google services with their their own. Eg: Samsung already offers its own cloud service and its own app market for S.Korea, Amazon totally reskinned everything in the Kindles and didn't even include a single Google service, and many Chinese OEMs are doing the same. This is how Google makes money, and the best way to do that is to convince people that the "default" Google way is best, which is why they're trying to push the Nexus brand as much as possible this year, not just for devs. that's also the reson why Google still continue to make great apps for competing platforms like the iPhone (unless Apple block them).
*
and google wants to improve android's image coz manufactures 'skinning' eats alot of ram and adds a lot of bloatwares.

It's based on one's opinion. Don't jump into conclusions just yet. Heck, it's not even released in the US also.

Ps: messy quotings above. Pening

Just saw a article from Taiwan gadget site.
First launching mid Nov for western country n end Nov for Asia but not in Taiwan due to LG Taiwan prevent direct competition and not willing to jack up the prices.
Would this be good news?  Seem LG Malaysia not doing very well here, n4 will be their stepping stone (they aware of prices issue too)
*
maybe lg will retain thier pricing because they are trying to compete with samsung's domination of the asian market. rolleyes.gif
only time will tell,it's still a long wait for the nexus 4 arrival in southeast asia.

If LG bring this in, I do not mind paying for service at the LG service center as imported set. Why bother sending back. As long as you pay, anything can be solved.

it's a gamble.not everyone has 2k(not confirmed rrp) to spend.
