Just like Core i3, the FX4100 is not a true quad core. In fact the FX4100 is more like Core i3, dual core with Hyperthreading (Intel's own SMT). AMD's version is called CMT (clustered multi-threading) for the new FX series. Naming it "quad core" is more for marketing purposes. i need 4 core for use it
