Tropicana Corp Bhd, via its wholly-owned subsidiary Tropicana Subang South Development Sdn Bhd (TSSD), is disposing a piece of freehold land in Subang Jaya for RM37.55m. In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, it said that TSSD had entered into a sale and purchase agreement with Mediaraya Sdn Bhd, to dispose the land measuring 9,968 sq meters (107,294.65 sq ft) at RM350 per sq ft. The company expects to make a gain of RM3.7m from the disposal and the net proceeds will be used for the working capital and/or repayment of bank borrowings of Tropicana and its group of companies. probably they are doing in batches. went yesterday, it was ok. we went on a bus and did a tour on the site around the park. i think they are still having this green carnival till 19th Oct..
