Those SA are using this as excuse for not giving discount at year end ? If in case u need to sell the car on January 2013 u will loss 8-10k as the car already 1 year according to used car , any car dealer u go ask now will give discount those conti car event give out 15-20k discount

MR_Alien when are you getting the car? Do update us with the FC and also the experience riding in it. few of my colleagues here wanted to get the car when they know the FC was so good haha but do not know how it handles on the road.

Yes. It has nothing to do with rubberband effect, though. It's just the CVT "downshifting" to a lower gear ratio.

Like I said, that's not rubberband effect la , that's just engine braking.

CVT's rubberband effect is when you step on the throttle, the RPM goes up and the engine roars but the car is not accelerating as fast as the engine noise suggests, until the CVT arrives at the correct ratio.

Feels weird, doesn't it, the car doesn't change gears  You will learn to appreciate soon enough especially when driving in hilly area 

when climbing slopes, normal AT will jerk when upshifting and downshifting as it hunts for the suitable ratio for the best torque vs. speed. On the other hand CVT can smoothly move through the ratios at any speed.

Of course, it does that at any terrain, but the difference is the most apparent when climbing hills like Genting.

I think D should be able to climb la.

B/S is only used if you need to accelerate faster or when you need stronger engine braking.

the SA said it can help during bukit climbing and also during going down the bukit..
i can understand the bukit climbing part but the going down the bukit part a bit confuse becos i think the engine braking can still be activated while still in D..

Getting my car next week but my SA informed me that all the accessories are temporarily unavailable because Mitsubishi Malaysia is holding all orders for the accessories. So he will returned back my money. Is it true? If not I will send my car to other branch.
