Once you pull out your S-Pen, your phone will vibrate and you will see a pen sign on left top with the notification. That's by default with no sound.

If you want notification sound. Go to Settings>S-Pen>Pen attach/detach sound
Choose anything that you like there.

If you want your Note 2 to alert you if you walk away without poking back the S-Pen, then enable S Pen keeper.

I was formerly from iOS . If you have upgraded your itunes to latest version , you cant sync contacts to google anymore . Many people in this forum have suggested that but it is just not possible with latest version.

For contacts use my contacts backup available free on apps store. You then email to your google gmail as a vcf file.you open the file in gmail then safe it to gmail contacts. If there are duplicates there is an option in gmail to merge duplicate contacts. You then sync gmail with android phone.

Alternatively you can use easy phone sync on your pc and android for contacts and sms . Just google and follow instructions.

For photos I just copied from iPhone and pasted to android

Thanks for your advise, somehow I managed to do it. I setup Exchange (Gmail) and then sync over from iPhone to Gmail (Contacts) and then sync back. Something like that, I forgot what I did but I click so many times and round and round and repeat and finally got it to work.

I'm happy to say that all contacts is in my Note II now.

All I need is:
memory card
cover

So, if 2199 sme set with sp + flip case is a good deal la..?
