I think it's not pickup lagging....
It's the lagging when you downshift or upshift...
When you floor the acceleration pedal...the car will lag like 1 sec only downshift and go....

The same happen when using the paddle shift....
Probably the ecu doesn't process fast enough? Haha....

my personal experience ... if u use paddle shift ... it will be having faster response compare to the gear pedal....

m3 ecu hv intelligent learning depend on your driving style..... but .. i will say its not fast learner.. tongue.gif

Still manual is the most fun and enjoyable to drive...
You can down shift whenever you want...

For example when I wanna do engine braking....
Down shift at 3~4k rpm...
The brain of the car will say no no...
but our heart and brain know that....it is possible...please change....

I'm seriously looking into getting a M3. The SA told me that the car has done a layer of coating (something like diamond coating). Is it true for other new buyer here? My SA is from Penang smile.gif

hi bro. my fren a mazda 3 owner done his 1st service (1000KM) in pj hq due to it's nearest distance.

may i ask, what oil they provide and did they change all the engine oil? are they use the engine oil in 1L bottle?
cos my fren got the balance in 1L bottle and they ask my fren to attend the 2nd service in 10k KM.

i thought they only top up the engine oil cos only 1L bottle is provided. unless they use 4 bottles where it's not economical i think.
if they only top up the engine oil. i wonder what engine oil is in the engine from new. mineral or semi or fully? i thought normally new car only put mineral oil cos need to change in the 1st service.

is the mazda service centre provide fully oil?

All Mazda SC provides Mineral, Semi Synth & Fully Synth SHELL engine oil. Every service will include change of Oil Filters + Engine Oil and others depending on the mileage.

Some SC will have huge drums of engine oil while some have 4L & 1L bottles. Don't worry as your service is free of charge as it includes parts & labour. The only difference you need to top up would be if you upgrade to Fully Synthetic Engine Oil.

Please bear in mind, you're not allowed to use your own engine oil in most SC while some allow.

Btw, for those who are upgrading to Fully Synthetic when servicing in our SC @ Jln.Sungai Besi, we're giving a $10 KFC Voucher !!!!
