Just got my M3 today. M6 CBU last batch all sold out. Next batch will be here on June, might be CKD. I can't wait that long. Chg ' ed booking to M3 white and got it immediately. Ride is superb so far, except the GPS map - inaccurate at Sg Buloh area.

Can share any promotion or freebies you get from SA for the Mazda 3 ?
*
I got full tank, free tint worth 1.3k, electric tyre air pump (standard). Dealt directly with the Sales Manager instead of Sales Exec.

Take note that basic insurance premium (3.7k) does not cover windscreen and sunroof. The windscreen + sunroof insurance quite expensive = 500+ by Berjaya Sompo, insured value 1k front screen, 1k rear screen, 500/500 left/right mirror and 3.8k for sunroof.

Wow pretty good deal u got.

What sort of tint did u get? Skytint? Electric tyre pump is a standard equipment that comes with the car or a freebie?
*
AirKool 6mil security tint, 50% IRR only.
Electric tyre pump is standard equipment. Other standard equipment are 16" spare tyre, car jack, first aid kits, and car tools.

There is one forummer here who is a part time Mazda car seller (benji2203) giving out quite a good deal (tint, smart tag, touch n go and full tank). Very friendly guy, but I didn't book from him though (sorry for that Benji lol).

Wait the minute. I thought that someone complaint M3 is fabric, single zone air cond, no auto cruise, and  say M6 2.0 seems a better deal.  laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

Haha yeah bro. No choice, M6 need wait 4 months, I lost patience dy. Gonna do the leather wrapping at DK, Puchong - 2 tones color. Reverse cam, ducktail spoiler can install at Bermaz HQ, along Federal Highway. Others like auto cruise, dual zone air cond no choice, give and take lor.

Here's my personal opinion after 2 days of long driving experience:-

Pros:-
1. Handling is superb. Electrical steering feels very light and responsive.
2. Suspension is good, but not as good as CRV.
3. Great fuel consumption - average 8.1l/100km (as shown on the TFT LCD screen under Fuel Maintenance menu)
4. TFT LCD screen, commander switch control, steering control is very useful and friendly to use.
5. i-Stop feature is great but can be annoying as it jerks on and off. Need to learn to adapt to this feature e.g. when car stopped, press the brake until max, wait 2-3 secs for the engine to shut off, switch gear to 'N' and release brake pedal. Do not touch the steering or other buttons as the i-Stop is very very sensitive, even a slight fingertips touch on the steering will start the engine back.
6. The speakers sound is very loud, crisp and clear. To me, the standard speakers are very much comparable to the M6 Bose speakers (just my opinion, note that I am not a fan of audiophile though...)
7. Bluetooth connectivity is very easy and fast (just pair one time and it will auto connect everytime). Works with my Note 3 and iPhone4S just fine.
8. GPS can connect to WiFi (Note 3 portable hotspot) and you can view the online traffic info, very useful for town/city driving.
9. Aircond is very cold...!
10. Dashboard color combination at night when lit up looks very niceee!
11. Very nice LED headlights and rear lights, looks very fierce!
12. Very very big boot compartment!
13. Sunroof is awesome! biggrin.gif
14. Standard accessories supplied is better than M6. At least 16"in spare tyre and first aid kits are provided. M6 don't have spare tyre.
15. Fast and powerful car, slight press on fuel pedal and it can easily reach > 120km/h!

Cons:-
1. Missing cruise control make the right side of steering feels empty.
2. Missing digital aircond display (like the one in CX5 and M6) make the top of aircond button feels empty.
3. Wind noise insulation is pretty bad, drive above 80km/h and you can hear the loud wind noise (still better than my Myvi SE though).
4. Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres are noisy and expensive to change but looks good in 18"in.
5. GPS is not very user-friendly especially when searching for POI. Those of you who are used to Garmin or Papago will find this GPS abit hard to use. The map needs update as some of the places are incorrect.
6. No electrical seat and memory.
7. No central lock makes me always forget to lock my car when driving. My Myvi SE got this feature last time, so I am used to brake locking.
8. No auto rain sensor wiper.
9. No auto retractable side mirrors when engine shut down. Need to manually retract it.
10. No front sensor.
11. No reverse camera.
12. The rear height seems abit high. I can't see the car plate num of the car at my back. Can only see the windscreen and front bonnet.
13. Driver's seat rear pocket is missing. Only passenger seat at the back got pocket to store books etc.
14. USB port, DC 12v is located inside center console box. If I want to connect the DC 12v power to my DVR recorder, the center console box cannot close properly...
15. No auto dimming feature on rear mirror. If you take a look at the user manual, the car suppose to come with this function. MY version is missing this feature though.

Apparently according to my SA, GS Accessories near Jalan 222 can do it.

According to her also that shop is the panel for Bermaz and wont void warranty. Anywhere else will void.

Dont know how valid her claims are.
*
Ok, I'm going there later to find out.

Update: Managed to locate GS Auto Accessories official website http://gs.com.my/v2/?page_id=1296 and rang them up. Confirmed nothing yet for new Mazda 3. She will call me back when the accessories and parts for new Mazda 3 arrive.

Do update us on that Bro: )
If you don't mind,  please help me check if they can do the reverse camera.. your help much appreciated .. smile.gif
*
Can, but need to wait for the stock to arrive.
Alternatively, you can buy it online and get them to install it with a cost. Check the reverse cam model with them first before purchase, cos if it is not original Mazda part, they won't help you to install it.

Auto cruise can order online too?
*
I am not sure of this bro. If the auto cruise part is just a hardware installation then I guess should be no problem for GS to install it.
But if it require something to do with flashing ECU, software etc, they won't do it for you.

And as mentioned, they will only install original Mazda part. I don't think you can buy the original new Mazda 3 auto cruise part online (I maybe wrong tho).

By the way, my car exterior has became very dirty with black spots everywhere after yesterday rain sad.gif I will be sending my car for blue flame coating tomorrow at Sierra Glow.

Anyone who has done the same coating, appreciate if you can share how good it is, and whether it worth the money or not? Cheers.

Bro ryosuke.. mind share what kind of offer /package you got from there.. haven't found any reliable brand for the coating work yet..
*
Current offers I got:-

1. Maximus @ Kota D'sara - Glass Coating Package 3 (3 years warranty) = RM1.3k **they use 3M products**

2. Prestige @ D'sara Perdana - Diamond Coating Package (1 year warranty) = RM2k+ (negotiable), Titanium Coating Package (2 years warranty) = RM3k+

3. Sierra Glow @ Subang Jaya - Classic Coating Package (5 years warranty) = RM850, Blue Flame Coating Package (5 years warranty) = RM2.6k (with 25% discount)

4. Tribos @ Sg Besi - 3 Layers Glass Coating (3 years warranty) = RM2.6k

To be honest, I am not sure which coating is the best and what is the difference. All I know is the most expensive coating is "glass coating" and the warranty some does not cover scratches, car paint etc and some do (Prestige do cover warranty for these..).

Out of the 4 above, Sierra Glow is the most economical offer I got. However, do note that Sierra Glow does not cover warranty for scratches, car paint and physical damage. They only cover warranty for "oxidation" after body coating. For Blue Flame coating, they will coat one more layer "Primer Silica" for extra shine and minor scratches protection.

Does Sierra Glow also protect n warranty damage from flying stone and chips bro ryosuke?

heard a lot of good review from Sierra Glow but havent decide yet which one to choose
*
Bro, I asked around all the other car coating vendors. None willing to provide warranty against damage from flying stones/chips and original car paint damage.
Most of them will only warrant against bird dropping, oxidation, residue etc. The expensive one (>6 layers coat, cost >RM3k) provide lifetime warranty against those I mentioned + minor physical scratches on the coat (re-coat whole car without a cost).

My personal opinion is that, even if you tint the body of the car, it still does not guarantee you protection from flying stones/chips...

My main purpose of car coating is for easy maintenance and maintain the "wet" and "glossy" looks.
Thanks to K.F.Choong (boss of Sierra Glow), I got a very good discount from him notworthy.gif
