I suspect they will bring CBU 2.5

That will have active drive, dual air cond, leather seat, Bose sound and others same as current 2.0

I'd still take the car. If wait for additional features, the next thing, realized I have waited 4th gen mazda 3.
*
Yea, I will still go for the CBU too. Don't really need the HUD. And I'm not a big fan of audiophile stuff, so without the BOSE speakers is fine for me. Leather seats can be upgradeable at accessories shop, hence not a big issue for me.

The only disappointment for me is without the auto cruise and dual air cond features.... anyway, will try to live with it. Sometimes we just can't have the best of everything, sighzz

Nice one bro. You're the man.

But seriously. Bermaz will kill themselves if they do CKD 2.0 with more features.

As far as I know, Bose sound system don't have distributor here (is it?)

So, the news of cruise control, Bose sound, active drive, sound like they planning to bring CBU M3 2.5

I think that will cost around RM145k-RM148k

In my opinion,

Dual zone is good but not really important because Malaysia weather, not really relevant..

Auto Cruise is good but 80% in city drive, not relevant because traffic problems. Even if during holiday, go cuti-cuti Malaysia, you'd still find our highway is jammed. tongue.gif

HUD is good for bragging and show off, sadly not featured but still ok.

Bose sound system is a major letdown. Was looking forward for it and currenty can't find anyone here to install it..  sad.gif
*
Good analysis bro!

I think there is BOSE authorized distributor and installer here, let me check it out with my suppliers. The price won't be cheap though.

One thing I would like to give credit to Bermaz is that they did not compromise on the safety features thumbup.gif look at the num of airbags, DSC, TSC, ABS, EBD, burglar alarm etc! It's very impressive compared to what Toyota and Honda is offering.

Accessories shortchanged can be upgradeable but if shortchanged of safety feature, god bless you....

For the price of RM139k, if the seats are manually adjusted, I would be extremely disappointed. It's like we are going back to primitive age!!

Very nice Indeed! Especially in white... It's a shame it does not come with leather seats. The Leather seats will compliment and complete the car. I will be getting mine wrapped by the dealer with extra cost.
*
Ohh... Dealer got provide leather wrapping service?? How much is it?

correct me if im wrong, if you wrap leather seat for ur mazda 3, is it will causing the side airbag located at the side of front seat unable to be deployed during emergency situation?

also thinking to wrap the seat with leather, but worried for this kind of thing to happen. anybody can answer?

http://youtu.be/R4ekbB5EzZM -- can see this youtube video of how mazda airbag functions
*
Looks like you are right bro.... leather wrapping will cause the front seat side airbag cannot deploy.

thx for the picts, exterior too similiar with m6

btw, do they allow test drive?
*
Not allow for test drive now. Only one demo unit available in PJ SC for 3 days and then will relocate to another SC.

Also, there isn't any news yet regarding bringing in 2.0 low/high spec, 2.5 variant, or CKD differences.

If you guys wanna view this car, suggest to come early... say hi to the SA girls smile.gif

manual seats..?

why we always kena ripped off one..
*
Ya lor... rear ducktail spoiler also don't have and the sunroof (internal layer, beige) is manually open one... Haihz.
Only the sunroof outside layer (window) can be electrically operated. If during driving want to open the sunroof abit dangerous leh... doh.gif

I also go see the new KIA K5 facelift today. K5 panoramic sunroof is fully electrically operated (inside and outside layers). Quite impressed with K5 actually, a lot of features...but the pricing RM149k for a Korea car in my opinion is abit steep....

yeah. just not what i expected it to be.

but i think it will b a good car to drive. can't blif i waited from the previous gen facelift version till now then i pulled out

haha

Same bro. After much considerations, I intend to change my booking to Mazda6 2.0 CBU.
This is because for the number of missing features in Mazda3, if I add on back these items (leather seats, electrical seats with memory, dual air cond, auto rain sensor wiper etc.) the final price is almost the same as Mazda6 2.0. Not worth it, really.

Thumbs up on your review, bro Guilt79! thumbup.gif

That practically sums up my first impression when viewing the car. M3 has great exterior, but poor interior feels.
I just can't find the "premium" feel when sitting inside.

The NAP will got effect on M3 ah?

lol bro, I anticipate the NAP will mostly affect energy efficient car that is locally built or assembled. Since M3 and M6 is CBU unit, I wouldn't put my hope too high... FYI I booked one unit of M6 CBU already.

I wish bro lol don't think RM189k for a Japanese car is worth it.
I booked 2.0 only.

No more Red. Only managed to find white, blue, aluminium, and grey... white very limited unit left. Need to clarify with SA whether the GPS navigation can be add on or not for 2.0 variant. If cannot, too bad... hafto go for my next choice dy = New Accord.

Only now they start to process my loan.. doh.gif

And worse part, my car is with Puspakom for inspection  doh.gif  doh.gif

And less than 2 weeks CNY  doh.gif  doh.gif  doh.gif
*
Lucky you bro, at least your car is already queueing up for Puspakom inspection.
My loan was processed yesterday and approved on the same day, but was informed by SA that Puspakom is already full and can only do it after CNY.

I got a good interest rate from PBBank though, 2.35% for 6 or 7 years thumbup.gif
Most of my loans (property, old car etc) are loaned from PBBank.

I'm getting on next week, Monday.

I bring a gangster along to wallop the SA.

When is your M6 ready?
*
Haihz. .. dunno bro. SA said CBU M6 left only Blue Reflex color, year 2013 unit. I insisted for Meteor Grey or Soul Red. Then, he said need wait for next shipment - most probably year 2014 car which is good. But with the recent NAP 2014 announcement, I am worry there will be price hike for this year CBU car.

FYI I have already sold off my current car last week, now "carless" lol.
