Getting Started

Hi all I would like to ask for some help, does anyone here knows a good salesperson for me to trade in my car(s) and get a new Mazda 3? I have shortlisted a few cars, and Mazda 3 is one of the cars I am looking to purchase. Got a few questions for those who have their cars already : - any major/minor problems with the car? - after sales service issues? - should I get the 2.0L or the 1.6L model? Are there vast differences between both the cars?
Thanks a lot!

QUOTE(IminmyownworlD @ Oct 23 2012, 11:55 AM) Sent my car to Glenmarie service center twice to fix the rattling noise at the right side, seat belt compartment area.. when going on bumpy road, there will be a "tik tik tik" sound coming from inside. Checked before, not the placement of the seatbelt buckle. Anyway.. sent in once, they said they placed sponge inside, still there sound was there, only lesser. Brought in second time.. they said they fixed it.. yet.. the sound is still there. But i consider myself very lucky cause 10 months driving it.. there's the only area with rattling noise. One more thing.. they rotated my tires front to back and now making noise above 80 to 90km/h and above. Something like a constant high pitch "wooooooo". Took it back to service center.. they say nothing can be done.. tires needed to change.. but its only 10 months.. is this normal? Not sure whether changing tires within 10 months is normal or not. I did change all 4 tires in less than 10 months time... Around 25k mileage that time. I noticed that there were 2 of my stock Dunlop tires already slightly bengkak, "pregnant"... better be safe than sorry.... What's ur mileage bro? Speed a lot?

Mileage = 22K Speed = 80 to 120km on an average Tires = Dunlop 215/45/R17 Front tires Corner rings botak and one side pregnant too. SC told me tire bengkak cannot claim. need to change for safety reasons. What tires did you change to? Cause the current one giving hell lots of road noise. It is unbearable..

There r a few tyres out there that u can consider Michelin PS3 or Yokohama C2 or u can consider follow back CBU size tyre 205/50/17. More rubber as compare to 215/45/17

Hi bro, I'm using the Yokohama C2... personally, I'm not sure whether it improves the road noise... i don't pay much attention on that

I thought the auxiliary cable only act as transferring audio and does not read data. One easier way is to get an FM transmitter or an mp3 for your auxiliary cable. Apple's mp3 produce the clearest and best quality.

I got my last batch of CBU M3 early last year. Graphite mica. Clocked 36k mileage now. FC 9.2L/100 km according to the monitor. No rattling sounds, no tire sounds, am very happy about the car. Only downside is the NVH which is not so brilliant. Loved the looks, enjoyed the ride. How's the CKD batch?
