QUOTE(beer8bottles @ Apr 3 2013, 09:44 PM) Hey, I'm just wondering out loud, is it worth it to keep an african lungfish? Haha somehow that sounds funny. Well, up to u. I sometimes giveaway fish to friends/random forummer (lol) when i cant take care anymore My fella just eats and poops giant size poops and clouds up its tank water really fast. Thinking of letting it go. But then again, it's a lungfish. Edit:added pics ![]() Fattening n grew about 2inches or so since it first joined the tank below ![]() ![]() My dwarf eating well ![]() 2 fatties, 1 skinny This post has been edited by awansakti: Apr 3 2013, 11:54 PM |

QUOTE(beer8bottles @ Apr 4 2013, 09:51 PM) From past and current experience, they are really easy to keep. The one I had previous years ago only ate feeder, the current lungfish is on pellets. Just dump the food in and it'll take its own time to eat. No thrill really. I does eat a frog now and then but recently it only prefers pellets. As for feeder koi, it kills them and lets them float around in the tank. Moving it out cause of what?poor thing, if put outside must be getting less loving now I'm thinking of moving it outdoors into a black water tank. I think my issue with the fish is that it's so boring, but at the same time, it's so cute. Anyone else here with that problem? |

Daily observing them shows multiple relationships. The sajica is nasty small fella, now kawtim with fh n join fh when pushing, nudging the oscar.but fh no kacau it.sajica vs it happens alot but no injury.oscar suka nudge bichirs but no injury also.but who is kacau aro is mystery cause i havent catch with my own eyes. Sometimes notice scale loss on the aro.hmmm.later will get bigger tank atleast 4ft, when move in new house in few months time |

QUOTE(antzz @ Apr 12 2013, 02:16 PM) Aro scale loss is such a spoil, when it happens. I eliminate all threats when it happened months back. Now that the scales fully recovered, i wont risk it by adding any fierce predator tankmates. Agree on this. Thats why try comm with cheapest available aro: silver. See how it goes later. Got friends i can give fish to if need arise.Hail Lord Aragorn. Btw antzz, back from outstation is it? |

I only have bichirs that stand out in this tank. girls get geli at bichirs. Except genie. HahaFishes & turtle doing good. That day a family guest came over, their pretty girl joyfully played with Aragorn as he kept following her hand. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Jay, gave bichirs to who? |
