So far none of the Gars have bitten me or even come close to showing any aggressive behaviour towards me from when they were in grow out tank and even in pond I used to get in with 3ft Gars circling but so long as they don't feel cornered no worries.

Around 18" I moved them from tank to pond and during that time in the tank they used to give me room to do water change and cleaning etc. If I take longer than usual they'd come close to sort of reestablish their space (I'm speculating) so a tap on the head to show them who is boss settled that once and for all.

Hand feeding being bitten have the risk.
Is the feeder too short?
Are u holding on the tail of feeder while hand feeding?
These two might help decreased the chances of being bitten.
Beside, big fishes need to be ferocious, so why go sayang them with your tiny fragile hand.

i got it from arare. he told me can get discount ask me to put my own price. i told him if i wan 150 can ka? he say kenot then i ask him 200 lo.    then he agree with my price cos few malaccan ppl took this paima...

seriously my tank only 5inch x 5inch only with a small portable oxygen pump. 7 gruppy fish only inside the tank. today i woke up die another one. wat happen?!?!

alamak that size is small boss. cos bujuk if that size percentage of survival is very less  cos i tried before to rear this fish when i was in secondary catch in my kg. ehhh... i heard got ppl say u wanna letgo penyu ka..   what size and price...
boss 5 inch is very small and if you anti chlorine also kenot put too much cos the fish sure will die slowly. also if you portable oxygen oso the fish oso will die no matter what also.      cos the fish sure get drunk when too much bubbles in the very small tank. 
later i'll senap the paima picta when i reach my kg. 

i dun have any penyu~
