What fish is this ?

yes..like terung...but very rare,very mean..arare have this,but only for sale in KL area..

i've asked him many times..but he didn't answer..he just give me clue about the price..rare piece = unimaginable price..
the price range is from hundreds 2 thousands ringgit.. 
the size is less than a foot..this species can't be giant in captivity but have a long life span..these are the small version of electric eels..

guys, know what this fish is? like endlicheri but very long.

What i meant earlier is that the fish belongs to Arare, not mine. Looks like a FH, or some kind of cichlid hibrid like u said. I really like the coloration and shape.

I already voiced my idea to a friend, who can help with pond construction, if ever i decide to have one. He's well-experienced in garden setup and pond designs. He explained about pros and cons when choosing between mobile tanks or ponds. Also, about pond locations, settling chambers/ fltration system, sunlight exposure and roofing. About costing, roughly he thinks wont exceed 10k, for a similar 6k fibreglass tank size.

Now about stuffing glass into concrete wall, i think thats quite a challenge, as leakage may happen. Glass thickness also has to be strong enough to hold everything in the pond.

Ok.. Briefly.

Mobile tanks, however spacious they could make (now even got 12 footer), they are still tanks, means more fragile & often do not look beautiful, naturally. However, the pros is that they are movable and adjustable, location-wise. Once u bought one, u can fill it with water and rear livestocks straight-away, no toxin removal period. Fibreglass tanks are better than plastic ones because they can easily be fixed if broken or leaked.

While ponds (put aside indoor or outdoor this time), well.. they are ponds. Have their own.. er.. aesthetic art of garden and nature. A property with ponds has certain additional values. Also, ponds are way tougher, like, u can put heavy decorative stones without worry. U can even swim and have watersports with kids when cleaning a pond! But the cons is that cement ponds need to undergo certain period to remove chemical influence in the water, usually with acidic chem about two weeks or so.

I regret those time in childhood, when my father asked me to help with cement works (i remember he built brick walls, garden flooring, etc) while i lazied around with TV & computer (and LOTR novels too ). Now i have high respect for those proffessionals, with additional building knowledge and skills.
