Where can I get cottage cheese? I've read on the net that it provides a fair amount of protein. I've tried searching in Jusco, Carrefour, Cold storage and I can't seem to find no cottage cheese. Is it called something else? Or where can I get them? Tyvm! smile.gif

As usual, wanna flame please stay out.

Use the resources around you. I believe that we don't have cottage cheese manufacturer in Malaysia. So why bother using other peoples' food from thousand or million miles away, not to mention the price that you need to pay.

Yeah cottage cheese is quite low in protein compared to other types of cheese like Parmesan, Mozzarella, even the good ol' Cheddar. Looking at it that way they are over priced. They don't taste that good either. tongue.gif Well some don't mind eating it straight like that, I can't stand it. Maybe in salads or to complement something, but not on its own.
I'd stick to Cheddar cheese. They're much easier to include in a daily diet and are practically everywhere and quite affordable. The more exotic cheese are too expensive. tongue.gif

hah? i think the other way around lulz. most bbers eat cheese cause, yes, it's casein protein. but cottage cheese is so different compared to other cheese is that is it really really really high in protein and really really low on fat. nod.gif
/inb4 chedder cheese is fattening hmm.gif

but still the price for cottage cheese in malaysia is totally not worth it
