well.. this game very old liao. i think last year i started to play and at that time is free. it is a very nice game. if it still free now, i think i will be playing it until now. i just share my experience with you. i think use templar is the best. can Tank and also strong in PVP.

its fine now..i reinstalled the game..i wanna be a gunner..i wonder wat type of gunner is good..any suggestions?

got 2 type of gunners. one type is PvP gunner which good in attacking opponent and the other one is PvE gunner which corporate with other players in attacking monsters and ETC.

i would love pvp gunners then =)

gunner is the best PvP character, you know? so try your best lah. i am playing RYL2 now..

that scroll exchange is drop by monster !! u can get skill lvl 3 n 4 by killing monster at map 2 or buy from stall !!
RYL 2 is very cheap game is quote by some famous games website 2/5 star only!
RYL 2 become free bcoz more n more ppl quite becoz that is boring game , not believe? can try it .!! u will see alot high lvl ppl selling id also ! u know why?
RYL2 got one stupid bug u buy normal weapon 60-90 damage u can make it to unlimited 1000-1200 damage also can ! if u pay value pack !! u want make this value i think u need pay around RM 6000 ++ got ppl make it ! but finally also quite RYL 2 .

yah im one of the players of RYL ever since RYL v1. I have lv.85 Templar in Zeus, and a Lv.75 DeX Gunner in Hades server. All i can say is the game is great. Good enough for everyone to enjoy online gaming. Ryl has good community, in fact all over the world is playing RYL!! and i love it. We can expand our friends easily. But u know, some people are Lan C! but not much. Dont worry about that.

If u want to play Gunners, you've got to be rich though. Gunner's skill books ain't cheap. They come as expensive as over 10millon golds. I myself a lvl75 Gunner is still finding Gunbomb skill lvl3, which is the most expensive of all. the same goes to Fire arrow and Camouflage lvl3/4.

Templars are easier to build. their skills are less than 5mills, mostly. Other than that, u can be Officiator class, especially Rune offs. I dont have any experience with the Human race though

Find me in game (PM BlackThyra) mostly in Hades. i'll be online every weekends, on weekdays my lil bro will be playing my char. i'll help u if u need anything.

Come in groups to play, very easy to party and lvl up fast!. i got to lvl75 in one week only, 1-50+ solo, rest party.

dl'ing the RYL2 client as I'm typing this. hmm..the dl speed fluctuation is a bit funny but it's ok >.<: anyways I got a few things I wanna ask:-

1. If RYL2's f2p, then what's 'airtime' cards (see "Merchandises" section of their official homepage) for? Or did I confuse those for RYL1?

2. Sure I can google and hunt for answers in other forums for this but I'd prefer better clues from LYN RYLx players instead. What's the real reason for CiB to maintain RYL1 for p2p since RYL2's the sequel? My general assumption was that CiB needs to maintain RYL1's current player pop to support RYL2 but to me that's a lil bit outlandish.

Feel free to provide the comparison in RYL-speak. I did a sin before bk when it's closed beta (or was it open o.O?) but that was a long time ago...

1) RYL2 is free to play..u DUN need to spend a sen to CIB for playing..but tmNUT bill and TNB bil u need to pay ler..
about the airtime card(a.k.a Monthly Card==MC) it is use to claim in-game stuff to further enchance equitment..

2) cib maintaining RYL1 bcos alot ppl demand and playing it...Why alot ppl playing it? read below

PROs for RYL1 : char level means alot
u dun need to spend alot money to become strongGOD)..onli hardworking

Cons for ryl1 : u need to have alot friends (party) ...u play solo..u dead meat...





Pro for ry2: char level means nothing(maybe a little)... a lvl79 can always kill lvl95..it all depends on the char EQuiments
2) u dun need to waste ur time looking for ppl to make party...it u got good equitments...u can solo all ur way to lvl95..

Cons for ryl2: u need to spend alot money to buy monthly card (mc)..1 mc is rm38...if u want to make 1 set good ==GOD like equiments== u need to spend rm............ .alot... ( not teling u)

Still must ty Cleared my questions at least. Oh so that's how we 'claim' by monthly cards? That would explain those cool sets I see at the officials.

I understand on the 'cons' for RYL1 but then again it would su ck to solo alot in RYL2. Got my sin to lvl 21 after installation last night. It's a fresh change in quests in between this and iSRO. My only concern is that a lot of newbies in-game last night don't seem to want to party. Maybe it's just my chosen server? Playing in Poseidon, LOA 1 with IGN 7thMeibatsu.

poseidon is the latest server... most of the player there PROs from zues and hades....so they already have they own guild and members..

newbies will have a hard time looking for lvling party..hope u make friend fast then

p/s: poseidon has the lowest experice rate....now u lvl21...wait when u lvl80++..then u know the feeling..

lets hope by 80, the xp rates would be changed >.<:...

maybe i should start a guild when it's time? at the official forums, ppl are complaining on the 2p party bug and it seems 10p partying can only be done with guildmates.

EQs and other items require certain amount of resource points to claim. So, u can convert monthly card (MC) game points to Resource points. 1 MC = 1500 resource points. u can do that in member's page (in topup section).

ya, I started playing ryl2 in a cyber cafe the other day, crashed a couple of times.

Does anyone else have a problem with installing? I downloaded the game, when I try to install it gave me the following error
I tried closing everything, even open task manager and randomly close processes until my com crashed. I tried contacting CiB but din reply yet. The file size is correct when checked with the file size stated at the download site, so not a broken download. Anyone can help?

RYL 2 for rich people only @@ since it's about equipments....
Imagine a lv 1 fighter with AAA+++ 20 STR sword and a AAA+++ 20 CON shield , can kill a character 10 lv's higher , thus he will have 10k+hp at lv 1 with that shield , RYL 2 sucks for me.

RYL 1 much better , no 'third-party' crap , farm money also easy , no need to go pure stat also can , PvP much more better , not too much confusing skills , assassins can do 4-hits with jump- S+attack , have arena , all things are stable in RYL 1

So this one is actually a renamed/remake of RYL1 for NA market?

What's the diff of RYL : UW with our RYL 1??

I don't think there's any real diffs apart from the name and the game server's location. Actually that's why I asked before, to see if there's any RYL:UW players here to give us some clues.

Hi guys i just dl ryl2 yesterday, didn't really play much because when the dl completed is already very late, current i am interested to start a archer. what should i take note? any advance player care to guide me with the archer build? by the way i am playing at "zeus server"

The official forums for RYL proves to be an invaluable resource for guides. Just scroll down a bit and you'll see a properly titled section specifically for RYL2 player guides. Of course you might wanna register 1st to be able to read stuff.

btw ... archer is harder to play ... because after lvl60 your lvling becomes very slow ... keep that in mind

and don't bother about UBER armor/weapons first ... forging is best left to those with real money ...

yes , real money rules. reason? you need to buy packs to get(choose 1):
-220 ToB(100% success rate in enhancing)
-1200 Spens(cheapest form of metal used for enhancing.Used for +1 combine)
-350 million gold
-50 of each large gem(for slot enhance)

each of these costs you 2000 resource points. the Raya pack(with the mouse) has 2k rp , while the Merdeka cards give you 1.5k rp , and a bonus item. each of these costs RM38. To make a uber weapon which hits softcap , assuming a >80 lvl weapon , will set you back roughly 10 packs. to hit 1k attack ... roughly 20~30+ packs

do the math. If you intend to invest roughly RM1k in this game , you will be strong.


If you go pvp , it's easy to spot the softcapped weapons/armor. they glow with a light yellow colour. AVOID these guys unless you've got equal equipment. usually , a shadow with a glowing claw can hit you for over 15k dmg raw.

So you guys here favor RYL 2 more than RYL 1 eh?

i'm in hades and have a 1100 damge sword and 400damge gun...means nothing acuatlly ...as there are those ppl with 4000,3000 damage that will kick ur a$$ without even breaking a sweat....

so i'm too leaving ryl2..back to ryl1 nowdays...
