I was invited to listen to a briefing yesterday at Plaza Mayang ss2. It was presented by a company known as HRO-v or hro vision sdn bhd. They started with a talk from one of their boss from the headquarters giving us knowledgeable talks about finance and stuff. Was quite impressed. Then slowly he introduced us to 2 things by Uni.Asia.

Uni.Asia is stakeholders are
41%UOB and 51% DRB HI-COM group.

First he told us about the savings plan. Just briefly as his target was not for us to start saving but instead becoming one of his agent.
One of his saving plan was If u start saving RM6000 per year, The next first year u will not receive any benefit. But the year after that u will receive a RM2400. They claim it's guaranteed amount.
There's a smaller amount plan which needs u to save RM300 per month, accumulating RM3600 that year. Same thing is the next year you will not receive any benefit but the year after that you will receive Rm1440.

That's probably all about the savings plan that he introduced us to.

Then this is where the gimmick comes.
He then showed us pictures of some of his successful agents buying big cars at a very young age. His benefits for agents are as below:
- 35% commission for every successful savings signed for every month for a year. Then it gets lower every year until the 6th year.
For example you get a friend to start saving with the RM300 per month plan. So by the next 12 month you will get RM105 every month for a year as comission. So if you find just 10 people to start saving with the most basic saving plan in that month, you will have 1050 every month for a year. So according to him, if everything he said is true, is a really good way to earn money, since the saving plan is really attractive too.

My question is,

[B]Are those stuff i mentioned above legit? Real? True? Fact? Is it a scam?

i have no idea myself. Been doing some research online, and it's true that UniAsia is formed by DRB HI-COM and UOB bank. It's true that Uni.Asia has several branches in malaysia. BUT the HRO vision sdm bhd i was at yesterday had little detail on the internet.

So, anyone here has experience with uni.asia or HRO vision? Any pros or sifu here to give comment?

The normal insurance reward for commission can goes as high as 35% plus 5% persistence bonus. Let say you hit a certain amount of target, requirement to continue as their agents for upcoming years. if you can't hit the targets, your license as an agents will be terminated, as well your commission.

The saving plan for insurance is a junk, for me. Well, every insurance explain the same thing, rewards, careers, business or marketing plans.

By recruiting another agents, they will be rewarded 5% overriding commission depend agency and insurance company, let say you hit certain amounts as required. In another word, insurance is the first MLM business to be introduced.

Our insurance industry is more like a multi-level marketing (MLM) company. they talk more on recruitment rather than on the passion of selling insurance. they talk more on making money from the overriding commission, incentives and oversea trips, focusing their amount of premium and dreaming to become Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT).

Other than medical card, saving or investment plan are junk. or so called smart retirement moved. The reason of disadvantage is too many charge, funds charge, administration charge and so on, handling to agents that no experience in managing funds or money. However, for some people, they like it. it's a contract terms. when you cancelled, you will lose money if it below 10 years depend plan.

HRO Vision probably their group name, since most insurance agents have their groups. Such as Vision, Success, Super Youth and so on.

It up to you.

Thanks for the comment!

So you are actually aware of this saving plan from uni asia? smile.gif. They did not talk much about the saving plan. But why do you say it's a junk when the interest is that high? About 40%. You only have to wait for one year where the interest is 0%, and by the next year you are 40% richer? And according to the plan you only have to save for 6 years, then you will be allowed to take out the money and ur interest. Probably unlike ETIQA where u will have to wait till ur hair grows white and balls start sagging biggrin.gif . What im actually worried about isn't about the plan since it's from a well backed company. But instead working as an agent for the company ( in my case here HRO vision). Why is it that they are so desperate in recruiting members? ( Showing photos of agents buying big cars, continuously telling their success so we'd be interested. Not sure if it's true or not.) I'm still young and actually quite naive about this kinda case. So if u have more to tell, please share biggrin.gif! I will really really appreciate it! Since according to what the agency say it's actually quite attractive financially.

Lol, there's no return for guarantee as high as 40%, maybe they mislead the plans. These probably endowment plan, please read the portfolio carefully. And, insurance plan will never be a tool to get rich, it a tool for protection.

Please use IRR (Internal Rate of Return) to calculate the return.

And, Return of Investment (ROI)
Example, an investor buys $1,000 worth of stocks and sells the shares two years later for $1,150. The gain from the investment would be $150 which is 2 years.

ROI = [(1,150 - 1,000)/1,000)]*100 = 15%

I don't invest my money in something that beyond my control, handling to agents, or salesman that don't have experience in managing money, without knowing who manage your money. They merely hunt your money for reward without knowing how risky a funds performed in markets. These agents are not investor, they're salesman. Salesman has the ability to sell, but not good in making you rich.

These people "Giving a People to feed, rather than teaching people to feed".

"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime." Chinese Proverb

However, it up to you. Some prefer people manage their money.

sounds like u are really keen to be recruited by them!

i think they key difference here is if you want to be an insurance guy or more towards investment. do not mixed both up together becoz it will get your clients no where. i have met many agents who focuses on this sort of savings plan, and not many last long, and most of them tend to lose quite a lot of friends after that.

people will not remember u much when they get the returns that is showned in the projections, but they will definitely come after you when returns are not up to expectations.

put yourself in that scenario, if u think u can handle that sort of responsibilities, go ahead. all this savings plan can earn u fast money, but doesnt really get u anywhere after that.

FYI,
This HRO Vision previously was in ETIQA and P1-Wimax.
All the methods/technique they using are totally misleading. They have banned from ETIQA as well as P1-WIMAX due to the complaints from customer.
Anyways, their big cars and big money are from their dirty technique.
My advise, you can join UNI ASIA under other agency/corporate but Not HRO for your own good.
*My friend was from HRO vision and he quited HRO due to this, and this is wat he told me.

Anyways, the cars are tempting and the option to choose is always in your hand.

i went to their briefing yesterday and it as sound as interesting and i nearly have an urge to join because you just need a rm336 to get a lisence and start working.

Its a fast money and 40% rate of return as well as 110% commission as accumulated in 6 years but there is one question in my mind... How they manage their capital as most of their fund has goes to commission?

And why most of their workers buy cars instead of properties?
I really need an expert who experienced from this to give me some advice.. should i in or not?

Showing luxury cars and oversea travel owned by members are the normal tricks for them to recruit new blood in MLM business, merely a mental tactic to catch attraction. Please completely understand their business nature and the way they sharing profit before you commit in any agent company. Just my 2 cents.

My opinion,

Yes, normally most sales manager will advice them about buying a car as an investment first to ease them recruit new members, show how fast they can re-cope their income, a lot of these agents bought expensive car, such as Audi and BMW, just like old tactics by focusing financial freedom. And, probably $336 will be included all text book and coach depend groups.

The allocation premium to purchase units in the unit fund, known as Net Asset Value (NAV) is determined daily from the valuation of fund, is very low especially from 1st to 6th year depend insurance plans which is used to paid expenses such direct distribution cost, commission agents, upfront charge and etc. But also, probably yearly management fees will also be imposed.

I knew some of self made financial freedom in the outside, by expanding their networking business outlets, earning hundred thousand a year to million. but still driving an old Saga.

The word insurance means to insure, not investment. It is to protect the losses of the unfortunate few from the contribution of many...

Insurance is not free, the higher the protection value the higher the risk for the insurer. This means higher premium.

I was there last night in another branch of HRO Vision Sdn Bhd at Setapak. Their office is located at the First floor of Dani Kafe, same role with KWSP, opposite KL Festival City Mall!

I was invited by one of their girl agent and before i attend to the briefing, she told me that their company was known as PDO, NOT HRO!! I am so sure as I have repeat many times to confirm their company name with the girl. mad.gif
Besides, the girl let me know that their company is handling a lot of EVENTS and they need people to join them, and these build my interest to see what kind of company is that although i can't even search for any information of their company on the Internet.

All of the agents are treating us so friendly. They will join us and chat with us like they are trying to make good friend with you, before the briefing start.
Most of the new members who went there for the briefing are youngster and students (especially students from TAR College).
One of them told me that, he had been told to have a job of PROMOTER! shocking.gif

When the briefing was started, I can see how they treat us like a naive person by showing their interesting slides, explaining all their attempting concept to earn money and attractive day of working, big cars, WITHOUT mentioning one word about events or promoter!

Some of the so call "successful" agents are wearing very expensive outfits and watch, to show off how wealthy they are, when they came out and have a speech on their experience in earning money!

OK fine! What make me so angry is when i try to decline their offer to become an agent and refuse to paid RM336 for the license, the girl was seem so desperate to persuade me and started to become impatient by raising her voice to me. I told her that i didn't bring that much of money or my ATM card neither. Then she said she will send me home by her BMW so that i can take my ATM card or the payment to her by that night. WOW! SO "NICE" of her.
The question is, why she is so desperate of earning that 5% commission from me if she is already so rich!
There are only people/worker who are looking for a job to feel desperate in order to join into a company, but this is another way round!

And are they expecting me to trust a person who is a LIAR who lie to me at our very first met, to get more people to the briefing by mentioning all those events, sales or promoter and even their company name????!!

They are very intelligent! They invite all those youngster who are still depends on their parents for pocket money and who are still a students with "BIG DREAM"!
There are more than 50 people in the presentation room, i wonder how many of them had use their pocket money or hard earn money to paid a group of LIAR!!! shakehead.gif

I really hope that you guys can spread the news and information of this thread, so that youngster and students out there will be aware of this kind of fake company with a group of liar! rolleyes.gif

Pass the exam as youve paid for it but whether to start selling insurance or not is up to you.

Let it be known that this is a Sales job. If you do not enjoy meeting up with people or just want to earn quick buck, sorry but you may be in for a disappointment.

Since this is a commission based you do not have a basic salary. The obvious targets would be your close friends or relative and subsequently you need to move to strangers.

If you do not move to strangers thats the end of your business and people whom had bought from you would be extremely pissed as the cases would now be transferred to your upline.

This is a business of providing professional services to your clients, a job most of us are passionate about.

There is no off day and your business is open 24/7 as clients can get admitted anytime.

Please do not misunderstand that I am trying to demotivate you but I am merely showing you the truth. You decide whether you are up to it to join the insurance business.

Good luck

Ahhhh so thats whats all the smses i've been receiving. Hahaha it's just so pathetic. Lot's of Tarcian are passing around the sms and so. So in the end it's them again sleep.gif. Did u see the way they laugh when one of their pals tells some really nonsense joke? Gosh it really disgust me. Like 0.01 seconds right after they laugh their face turn back to sleep.gif again. The whole talk i sat there quietly, looking at some fools being enlightened. At the end of the talk they will just gather you all and somewhat " Force " you to apply for a liscence. I had to start talking loud and show faces so that they wont bug me and let me go home. It's really sad to see some of the participant falling for their tricks and big talks. Sigh. I hope theres some authority to stop this kind of nonsense.
