So now that we have 50 reasons both ways . these 50 reasons represents unique features on each phone. This is a very powerful decision methodology. Take a pen and paper. Put weights on each reason of those 50 reasons. Do for iphone. Then, do for note 2 . the phone with the highest score is your chosen device. But do note that we using s3 as the base. Note 2 have additional features not mentioned in the video but i guess u might take into consideration.

There must be a technology u can expand display size. I like the display big. But small to fit my pocket. My first smart phone was 3.7 inch and it keeps growing every time I change my phone. But I admit 5.5inch is too big for my pocket but i rather sacrifice that than having a smaller screen. my phone calls are getting very scarce. Phone functionality is now secondary to me. Now if they can come up with a phone with small footprint but expandable display size than I'm sold at hello.

Android had its crappy years. 2009 when moto was launch was quite a crappy year for android. As for Sony, no comments but there are really out of the tablet and smartphone race, even back in 2011 . In 2012 the only android device u should rely on is samsung and anything with nexus on it. Some people tried android in the early years and got a bad experience and never looked at android again. I suggest u should.

This message btw doesn't undermine apple in any way. I don't know why I should write the disclaimer but judging how fierce the people here can be I think I should

ios is limited multitasking. meaning only some processes allows to run in the background:
1. Apps that play audio while in the Background state.
2. Apps that track your location in the Background.
3.Apps that listen for incoming VOIP calls.
4.Newsstand apps that are downloading new content.
5. Apps that receive continuous updates from an external accessory in the Background.

if u look at the list above, its nearly everything. so in a practical sense is not that bad. android on the other hand provides no restrictions to multitasking. there is also good and bad. meaning apps can really multitask, but task that are misbehaving will affect performance.

Yeah! that's the benefit of samsung. cheap phones the longer u wait. sell? just give it to your wife. no need to sell. wife phone? give to kids. kids phone? give to the poor.

I don't brain why u can't compare. I can brain not everybody wants to compare. But u sure can compare. Example. I have 1 sim card. 1 number. I never owned a phone or phablet before. I now going to buy one. Which device deserve my sim card? I must compare right?

Nope you can't.but close.if you have a message it will show as an icon in the lock screen.drag the icon to display the message.Sorry that's the best Samsung can do.but you know android.you can change the whole lock screen with a third party lock screen that can do that.

i did exactly that in my posts a few pages back

i have used my credit card in my google wallet since june 2010. been paying for over 500rm of apps already. no problem. just lucky?

the differences are in the screen size and the blazing speed. and also the overall hardware design if u want to take hardware and design into the equation of "differences".

actually there are lot of differences but they are mostly in ios 6. fortunately, or unfortunately iphone 4s also gets ios 6. so although there were lot of features in ios 6, iphone 4s inherited all of them. so it looks like iphone 5 has no extra features but the truth is iphone 5 has many new features. it so happen iphone 4s also has them now. people then to take that as "no new features" in iphone 5.

as for samsung, u will get new features for about 18 months from launch date through official software updates. after the 18 months is up, the updates is left to your own initiative through custom roms. that what sucks about samsung. but to me it doesn't matter coz i change my phone every 2 years.

that's not very true. Note 2 has many new features compared to note 1. the list can cover a few pages (google them if u don't believe me)

iphone 5 also has many new features compared to 4s. but fortunately, or unfortunately, iphone 4s inherited all the features of iphone 5. the only features that are not inherited by 4s is screen size and blazing speeds.

iphone 5 is 300 usd more expensive than nexus 4. that is nearly RM1000 ringgit difference!!!

wtf? feature wise u can argue iphone 5 have lte and nexus 4 doesn't have, and bla bla bla.... you can do this till the cows come home

but back to the price....RM 1000 ringgit difference! automatically by the price people will just make conclusion that nexus is the more inferior product by a 100 miles. not even in the same league to compare actually.

They say nfc use for payments and stuff. But really for me it's all sales talk atm coz it is not yet mainstream.

For me personally I find it very useful though. Here are my usage:
1. As automation. When I enter car. Tap dock. Car mode on. Gps on. Waze on. After finish driving. Tap dock. Car mode off. Gps off. Waze off. I safe about 30 secs every drive coz no need to fiddle with phone.
2. I have a nfc tag on my ipad. When I want to tether from ipad to phone I tap phone on nfc tag. Automatic Tether auto on. Tap phone again on tag, tether off. So no need to fiddle on both gadgets. Just turn wifi on ipad and u good to go.

Nfc is part of my life now.

Added on November 15, 2012, 5:55 amS3 and ipad owner. S3 no lag. The transition thing is adjustable. By default is set to 1.if u want faster set to 0.5.or even faster set to 0. 0 is no transition affect, just bam!

Btw, Just to note the sms and contacts apps have a bit of lag When opening . I updated to jellybean and it's improved. But still can't beat iphone . But tolerable.

I bought simple tear resistance nfc tags. 3 for 10 rm. I don't live in kl so i order from post. If u live in kl easy to get those tags in common shops.

Nope. Didn't notice any difference. Some forumers seem to report that problem blaming it on Google now. But i don't notice any difference

its the art of perception. its just 2 different strategywith the hope that it give a good perception to the buyer. a premium perception is what apple is going after. so everybody pakat to make it look premium. and for samsung the strategy is the opposite.

how has a better strategy? well, in malaysia its samsung. coz the mass malaysian are all cheap skates. everything they want cheap. 0.99 cent app also die die must get crack app. what better platform to get crack apps other than android. don't even need to jailbreak.
