Certain countries esp Taiwan & S.Korea, using Credit card sometime much cheaper than Money changer bcos Money changers in M'sia rate for NT$ & won really bad lor..but in Japan, I do agree not to use. But sometime, conveniency/security > cash.

Seems like wawasan gone liao.. no one manning the counter for weeks now. Well, no online money changer rates.. the best hv to refer Bank Negara & respective banks & agak-agak from there..

Saw the boss (or his staff) there last week. It was Saturday morning. The place is still theirs. I guess they are still waiting for their license to be renewed...

The rate qouted already net inclusive of whatever handling charges. No such thing as handling charges. However, in Taiwan airport, yes every transaction comes wth NT30 handling charges on top of the rate.

Yes US% is well traded in Taiwan and not our RM. That is why, it is good to change US$ 1st in M'sia and once in Taoyuen airport, change to NT$.. This only applicable to countries wth bad exchange rate in M'sia

Yes, the handling fee is only NT30 per transaction. So if you exchange very little then the handling fee will consider high. Taiwan accept RM too but the rate are even higher than the rate at M'sia while our Malatsia is at 10.40 then there will be 10.80. You can walk to any bank in the city which is ZhongXiao Fuxing. There is all bank and they accept USD, SGD, HKD, UK, AUD, NZD. RM no-no. I tried to ask around when I was there on my last Feb, when I out of money cry.gif cry.gif and no bring USD b'cos parents only give me RM (they keep say RM accept there doh.gif doh.gif )
