Genneva is not an investment nor trading company. It is a ponzi company.
They claim it is a trading company and expect to get Hibah monthly as their income. If this is a trading company, why expect income from the good?

Hi, you may not agree with her, or whatever your opinion you have about her, but please, please keep it decent and have some respect on others. At least she did not rob or kill or officially convicted. There are many more convicted people, female include, you can copy and paste your above comment to those convicted one. Even if your opinion is she "con" people, it is still not end of the world for you because I don't think she "conned" (at least this is the word you like to use) you to warrant your disrespect.

Today, one UMNO MP being convicted of corruption, why don't you start a thread to condemn that, I think that's more productive than trying to humiliate a single mother. Genneva believer is also a human being, greed or no greed, stupid or no stupid, they deserve to be respected as another human, I believe you are also another human being, not something else. Enough said.

Yes even though I am very angry with all these CONsultants who caused the sufferings to all those uncles and aunties either due to greed or ignorance, we should not go below the belt. Guys let us keep it professional ok coz it really will not be productive to do this.

While I do think that the previous poster's comment was unnecessary, well...I've said it before and I'll say it again. I do sympathize with the lower level victims who are really in dire straits because of this. The higher level consultants? Not so much. Not especially when they go around hurling crazy conspiracy theories all over the place. Banks are evil, BNM is evil, people who doubt Genneva are ignorant. Blame blame blame. Everyone else is at fault. Is it their own fault that they were blinded by greed? No lar, where got? They are just gold traders only. Gold price has been going up, don't you know?

If these consultants need to find a way to earn income after this, I would suggest they take up a job teaching tai chi.

How i wish i can go and buy a tv set from Harvey Norman and get a 2% hibah every month for 6 months and then sell back my tv set for the same price i bought it. After that i can invest oops i mean buy another tv set and start earning hibah again. Why cant Harvey Norman understands this new age business strategy?

Genneva Malaysia Sdn Bhd does not in any manner, directly or indirectly, at present or in future gives an undertaking or guarantee the repurchase of the gold products sold to its purchasers (no buy back guarantee).

That is not what they inform their clients. If they do not promise to buy back at original price, would u buy at 24% premium just to get 2% for 6 months? even uncles and aunties are not so stupid. This advertisement only came out this year after 4 years of operations. They must know that BNM coming down on them soon.

Lesson 1 - The company can wind up any time:
A sdn bhd company can wind up and close shop at any time, and not have to pay off its debts, obligations and liabilities beyond what is recoverable from the company (properties, furniture, kitchen sink, bank account balances, even gold bars). It's easy to close down a company, and even start a new one doing the same scheme all over again, as demonstrated many times here.

Lesson 2 - no guarantee means buyer beware:
If there was a written guarantee to buy back at sell price, then it's a matter of time before Lesson 1, but most people take the risk because they've played it so many times over the past 20 years (MLM, etc), and they know the only rule of the game is to get in early, make enough money so that when it burns you still come out nett positive (by pocketing money from those victims who joined in later and get burned).

If there is no written guarantee, and you buy because of sweet talk and promises, then you paid for an expensive lesson. The trick is always to give what was verbally promised to just enough people to gather those confidence votes and word-of-mouth reassurances.

Lesson 3 - understand your product and market:
Physical gold traders operate like physical money changers, not forex nor stock brokers, whereby they profit by a spread, not by commission. If the price never change, and you just keep buying and selling, you eventually end up with nothing.

If a gold trader says you can buy and sell unlimited times with them at the same exact price with no spread, and gives you some more money on top of that, then someone is seriously smoking ganja.

Lesson 4 - understand what you are paying for:
There is no law against selling overpriced stuff that is not a controlled price good like sugar. Willing buyer willing seller. If you bought overpriced gold, you will lose money selling it anywhere else at market price, so selling outside to break-even isn't even an option unless gold prices goes up 20% in just 6 months (and every 6 months). And then you only break-even...

Please find out for yourself just how often gold prices go up 20% in a 6-month timeframe. Only the ganja smoking gold trader is (hopefully) willing to voluntarily buy back your gold at above market prices, because he'd be making a big loss on that transaction.

And they try to claim that they do not offer buy back guarantee by advertising in the newspaper but in the actual dealings they do otherwise they know they can't get any investors without both the hibah and buy back guarantee.
