Mantra can avoid frozen bomb? Nice trick.
I always wait a bit then 7SS to avoid frozen bomb. About HP and Resist... generally I agree with Aleune, I think 40kHP or even 50k HP is ideal, but best if you use d3up.com or some Effective HP calculator to be sure... but 700 resist also ideal... LOL |

QUOTE(SleepEverywhere @ Nov 9 2012, 03:22 AM) no, get a partner, u can naked all the way, let the partner kill, i think both of u will get the achievement tho cause we both had it when someone was helping me Didn't know you can achieve "Naked Lust" in I got mine with my Eirena. Hit on Cydaea until she "cannot stand" anymore... Run around like a mad man and strip all your cloth and stuff. Avoid sipiderlings. You may need to position yourself behind Cydaea so Eirena can do the final blow. This post has been edited by cowithgun: Nov 9 2012, 12:00 PM |

QUOTE(ALeUNe @ Nov 12 2012, 03:53 PM) I have a 93K DPS monk (crit 200K is normal). woooo~ 93k DPS with 964RA, 7.1k armor with 5.6% LS also die a lot?! you play in lazy mode or what?I tested weapons with 5.6% LS (just LS from 2 weapons, no LOH from other gears). I died a lot @ MP9 in co-op game. Tried different mantras too (MoC/MoH/MoE). Didn't work well. For my case, LS is not quite enough to deliver the life recovery I need. (Note: I swapped back LOH gears, 2.7K LOH in total, and I got back the "better survival" in MP9. But I lost DPS due to change of gears). So, I think 100K DPS is not quite enough to let the LS shine. I may need 150K DPS (or more?) to have the LS worked optimally. since LS not suitable for your play-style, sell cheap cheap to me... k? i haven't upgrade any gear for a loooong time... |

While maintenance, if you have nothing better to do, try this for some light reading:
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/7004037253?page=1 I enjoy a lot. 1) Never really stand on lava, or let multiple Arcane slash me over. Well, Poison is OK. 2) Carry a few gear in inventory for different needs; lacuni + nat's boot for speed; shield/skorn as well sometimes 3) Can fall asleep in MP2 and below... farming is good a all, but playing with just using mouse can make me fall asleep real quick. MP4 is fun for me, my monk is awesome and I really have to use more skill to put mobs down quickly. I can do MP5 or 6, but killing too slow for me. Finally upgraded my Helm (Andariel's Visage) and Rare Pant to Inna's Radiance and Temperance!
They are both on sale! Got 'em cheap! Some DPS + Vit + Armor increased, lost a little resistance, acceptable! This post has been edited by cowithgun: Nov 14 2012, 12:00 PM |

QUOTE(peinsama @ Nov 14 2012, 01:46 PM) Wassap dear fellow Lohan brothers, sexy white hair nuns. Popular build = FoT's Thunderclap + Sweeping Wind's CycloneAs you all know, i'm a wizard from the Istari island. Recently, the monk character has trigger a lot of interest (actually it always has, lol). I decided to make a new character where monk tops the list of my choices. I become vegetarians for the past weeks just to get a feel of it and to make sure i'm one with everything. I'm able to balance my zen too although i do have munchees occasionally. Anyway, what are among the popular builds for monk? - Focus on getting Crit Chance. - Dual wield Popular build # 2 = Tempest Rush - Focus on getting spirit regen - Only for farming low MP Jedi Monk build (hehehe) http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/7004037253?page=1 |

QUOTE(yuhhaur @ Nov 14 2012, 03:56 PM) Akuma build needs a pair of shenlong fist to do Hadoken: I'd argue that Shenlong's Hadoken (blue) is more like Ryu's. Hellfire ring's Hadoken (red) is more like from Akuma.http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/shenlongs-relentless-assault |

QUOTE(peinsama @ Nov 14 2012, 04:14 PM) Actually im very interested to use Staff monks. Though not many uses it. Wanting to find its effectiveness to rotan enemies with Tested staff build before... too slow for my liking. Like yuhhaur said, IAS is important for 2H. Other than Inna's Reach, other good staff is Flying dragon. Found this in game, keeping for testing purpose. OK, I cannot sell, 2H is CHEAP!Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(peinsama @ Nov 14 2012, 04:44 PM) True..i have a set item daibo, totally cannot sell. lol i like fast attack! so for me at least 1.8 and above. but that flying dragon seems nice man. Chance to double the attack when attacking. How much speed is consider good enough for monks? 2.3? 2.4? or....3? O.O Most "Sith Lord of the Monk" has 2.0 and above. For 2H, you may wanna achieve 1.6. Generally, I agree with these stat: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/7004037253?page=1#16 |

QUOTE(paranoid @ Nov 16 2012, 02:56 PM) i swapped (d3up) my mempo with inna radiance and i only got +2k dps Cc has additional benefit that is not recorded in inventory dps if you use sweeping wind. i lost so much VIT and AR, Life, and the 9IAS. i thought inna radiance with 6%cc would benefit more I'd say only inna pant+ radiance will beat mempo. |

QUOTE(ALeUNe @ Nov 16 2012, 03:07 PM) Speaking of VIT, the hellbashers @ keep3 @ MP10 always give me 1-blow with their hammers. There its reason why they swing the hammer so slow before they hit you!I have 31.7K HP/5.8K armor/920 AR now. It is certainly not enough to fight hellbasher. U R suppose to dodge that. And 31k HP suppose to be not enough for mp 10. Anyway, who care about what blitz think that you are suppose to do. This post has been edited by cowithgun: Nov 16 2012, 03:32 PM |
