I have a 93K DPS monk (crit 200K is normal).
I tested weapons with 5.6% LS (just LS from 2 weapons, no LOH from other gears). I died a lot @ MP9 in co-op game.
Tried different mantras too (MoC/MoH/MoE). Didn't work well.

For my case, LS is not quite enough to deliver the life recovery I need.

(Note: I swapped back LOH gears, 2.7K LOH in total, and I got back the "better survival" in MP9. But I lost DPS due to change of gears).

So, I think 100K DPS is not quite enough to let the LS shine.
I may need 150K DPS (or more?) to have the LS worked optimally.

well i benchmark myself using the terms "facetank in teamplay"...hey man i can play kiting...sure..but who gonna tank for the team?....

p/s:...nooo!! them barbs are not tanking at all...they are circling...mine u...   ..

well nowadays...doing MP..the issues still stands...u need survival n DPS balanced together..to be efficient..as for me..im trying to do that on MOC-Overawe build kinda site....just pushing my limits there..   ...but one fact prevailed....u need both LOH n LS to achieve highest efficiency...balanced abit...not so much though? (quite contradicting with my experienced b4   )

As you all know, i'm a wizard from the Istari island. Recently, the monk character has trigger a lot of interest (actually it always has, lol). I decided to make a new character where monk tops the list of my choices. I become vegetarians for the past weeks just to get a feel of it and to make sure i'm one with everything. I'm able to balance my zen too although i do have munchees occasionally.

Anyway, what are among the popular builds for monk?

True..i have a set item daibo, totally cannot sell. lol

but that flying  dragon seems nice man. Chance to double the attack when attacking.

How much speed is consider good enough for monks? 2.3? 2.4? or....3? O.O

i swapped (d3up) my mempo with inna radiance and i only got +2k dps
i lost so much VIT and AR, Life, and the 9IAS.

i thought inna radiance with 6%cc would benefit more

Speaking of VIT, the hellbashers @ keep3 @ MP10 always give me 1-blow with their hammers.

I have 31.7K HP/5.8K armor/920 AR now. It is certainly not enough to fight hellbasher.
