Just flash the pureview 808 to new modified OS namely Delight OS version 1.5.
It deleted lots of unnecessary bloatwares, make it smoother and quicker.
Lots of advantages that I can see:
1. faster interfaced with animation. 2. can install its own appstore which has updated apps for normal usage, including CuteTube2, apparently can download youtube videos etc. 3. a few music players that can read Flac and other lossless files. Esp for those who enjoy 808's media playing capability (which is superb). 4. Delight OS has updater function which update with a single click.
5. Data backup with Nokia Suite, after flashing, can download back the Contact and messages back to the newly flashed Delight 808. Which is superb.
6. It reinstall back the apparently famous N8 Video editing apps. I haven't used it before so cannot comment.
7 It has Google apps !!

Still the undisputed King of Camera phone! None of the latest and greatest smartphone can come close to the 808 Pureview 41MP camera!!
Yes, it is still the king, apart from the Panasonic CM1 which doesn't seem to get to our shores here. Although it is not my primary phone now since last year, it will be maintained to be solely used for photography whenever there is a need for high quality photos. There isn't any current smartphones, apart from the CM1 that can match the quality of camera in the Nokia Pureview 808.
After almost 1 year having the 808 switched off, I switched it on several days ago only to find out that the camera now cannot function. All I get is this despite restarting the phone for more than 30 times now.
Do any of you guys experience this same thing? I was wondering if the battery is the culprit. The battery is still good though and can charge to full, but I was wondering if the camera on the phone will work again with a new battery. Any thoughts? Which shop sells new battery for the 808?
