Anyway, anyone know if the Biohazard Revival Selection is in English or in Japanese? Why won't they release Resident Evil 6 Archives in Asia? vmad.gif

Hehe. I'm not a major RE fan so the things that are seems problematic not really a major issue for me. It's still an issue but I have no previous reference to compare with since I've never played RE4 and RE5 I'm still playing, haven't finish. Hehe. I just play for the story. Like to watch the cinematics. smile.gif

Even though you're still playing RE5, you can see how different it is with RE6. Sheva in Disco suit = FTW!

Yeah I know. Can see the difference. RE5 is more "controllable". RE6 feels like the gameplay is "loose".

Both Sheva and Helena are hot. Hehe.

RE6 is even more linear than RE5. Even fans complain about it in RE5.

But it's gonna be annoying as hell. I once bought a brand new NFS: Most Wanted from a seller that have a shop in LowYat Plaza, without knowing it's the Japanese version. I only realize it when I'm in game when everything is Japanese. Oh bummer.

Very troublesome la like that. The seller didn't mention or he also actually didn't know it's Japanese version?

Seller didn't mention and I didn't take a good lock since the Japanese title is small under the English one, and worse, when I got it in my mail, I didn't even bother to read what's on the cover and rip open the shrink wrap. doh.gif He did know it's Japanese version and said all previous customers don't have problem with the game. doh.gif

its pretty much understandable
biohazard = localized version, japanese language
Resident evil = english/ for world consumer.

Althought the reason behind the title change is due to copyright protection.

The older games also in English? drool.gif drool.gif Nope, Capcom didn't release it for Asian market. If it's all English, I might get it from eBay US hmm.gif

Anyway, I'm asleep quite early today, tired and just woke up. Damn it! vmad.gif

i bought this game 2nd hand about a month ago...played it the day i received it and get bored after playing for 15 to 20 minutes and stop playing it.

one month later, tried give this game another chance and surprisingly it actually a very good game after getting used to the control mechanics. IMO, the shooting is
actually better than RE4 and 5 cause you can reload and shoot while moving. finished all 4 campaigns within a week, first on normal difficulty and second playthrough
on proffesional with infinite ammo and i really loved it.

cons:

- camera is too close to the character
- cover system doesn't really work so don't bother using it
- i'm fine with the QTE but really hate the QTE that require you to wiggle/spin the left analog controller in insane speed vmad.gif . this actually can broke the controller i think.

overall this game is enjoyable 3rd person shooter, i like it as much as i like the other 3rd person shooter the gears of war series and uncharted series. it is
more like an action adventure blockbuster summer movie than a horror survival.

if you like RE 5, you'll most likely to love this game as well....they are almost the same except that now you can shoot while moving around.

those complain about QTE, use both analog stick. You will see its alot faster. Generally i feel that the QTE design is a step forward in comparison with RE4/ RE5, however the way they implemented not so.

theres way too many scenes with scripted QTE that are total unavoidable.

the biggest disappointment i had with it, the mini/boss fights are unchallenging and it plays like a series of cutscene linking together.

no upgrade or merchant similar to RE4/5 is a huge detriment for someone who loves RE4/5
