QUOTE(shockk @ Oct 11 2012, 09:41 PM) You are just like me. I used to be S3 owner before. Then when Note 2 announced, I need that I just havr to get it! Its like the S3 which has been moulded to perfection. And the feels good will hold true until Note3 emerge next year with its Exynos 5 Series (A15) The Note 2 feels like it is just right in the palm. Note 1 feels rather clunky. And the battery life...my God it is so GOOD. The only battery contender is the Razr Maxx but the Razr loses out in almost all features to the Note 2. Then the delimma will start again |

QUOTE(zombieaa @ Oct 11 2012, 09:52 PM) ICS = IcsCream Sandwich firmwareLast time while on Gingerbread we only have 2GB for apps in the 16GB phone. The rest (around 11GB) is for our files, music, video..etc. Comes ICS and it remove the partition. Meaning now we can use the whole 2GB + 11GB for apps. |

QUOTE(joytest @ Oct 11 2012, 09:56 PM) Ice Cream Sandwich ie Android 4.0.x It can be done on S3 while on ICS thru Directory Binding or by Swapping Mod (Extsdcard2Intsdcard). Don't know about JB thou i believe it can be done sooner or later. Google changed the structure of the filesystem in ICS so apps can't "fake it" to move apps to SD anymore. Until someone figures out how to fake it again. Have patience my young Padawan |

QUOTE(thpace @ Oct 11 2012, 10:09 PM) directory binding is the safer option but based on user comment it not a 100% success rate. I tested, it work on S3, not sure on note2. Mayb those with ap set can try it out or try if app2sd work on note 2 Bind and swap meant for S3. That's why i said..have patience coz i believe dev will comes and mod this Note2 sooner or laterIf fail, the most you lost the apps and saved data swapping mod if anything were to go wrong, u have to factory reset it seem. So i will stick to Directly Binding for the moment |

QUOTE(Ivancck @ Oct 12 2012, 07:17 AM) I was approached by someone who claimed could sell me a sme set tomorrow. I would like to make sure if it is a genuine one. Rather than examine only the "packaging' , I wonder if I could validate via the Rom. Pls advice. Genuine one.? So far there haven't Note2 clone set in market yet. And at the moment only AP set is available |

QUOTE(Ivancck @ Oct 12 2012, 07:29 AM) I mean genuine sme galaxy note 2. I suppose it is hard to stop insider to get things out from the 'orthodox' distribution channel of sme. Would appreciate if fellow formers can advice. Thanks You mean it's actually genuine SME Note2 set and available tomorrow.? I heard SME set only available by 19th onwards. But to make it safe..ask the seller to register the e-warranty on the spot for your. That should handle any issue whether the phone is genuine SME set. Or you can do like Uncle Benny advice. Call service centre and quote the said phone imei to them for verification. Good luck bro |

Huhh..guys..To those who want to sign up data plan package from telcos..better opt for one year only. We might get our very first LTE network next year. And if new LTE phone coming..you will have hard time cancelling your contract if you take two years contract now. Think long term here
Added on October 12, 2012, 10:46 am QUOTE(bingish @ Oct 12 2012, 10:26 AM) Bro..there won't be any LTE phone for M'sia this year la. This post has been edited by waveweaver: Oct 12 2012, 10:46 AM |
