If the coverage is poor, no matter how powerful your phone is, no matter how good your download service is, you are doomed !

yea agree. coverage is very important to determine your worthiness. Imagine i only get edge speed in my house and when i travel outstation with maxis. However i get 3G connection while using Umobile.

So expensive data plan like siaocom, maxass does not warrant good service. It all depend on the coverage. Umobile not only worth every value for money but been serving me decent well thus far. So cheap doesnt mean you get mediocre service.

i dont think it is good idea to purchase from telcos if you are not existing postpaid users. The 24mths contract and total cost is far expensive than the device. Those telcos are not idiot to sell you at cheaper price.

However, if you are already a current dataplan users, by all means go for it. For those who tend to sign up for new, better think twice. Eventually you end up paying more.

You are not quite right in saying this
It is cheaper in the long run to buy from telco PROVIDED you need to use that much of data monthly. As you still need to pay for the data plan from any other telco if you purchased the phone separately
It is ONLY EXPENSIVE if you do not need to use that minimum data( say 1GB monthly) as you are committed to pay the fixed RM 38 or RM 48 monthly even if you just use, say only 100 MB data only
*
For the matter of fact, we have options. If you sign up with a telcos and later find out their coverage sucks...then you are committed with 24mths and that is a lot of money to pay for a lousy service. If you just buy the phone, then you can choose the best data plan which suit best in terms of coverage and value for money. These are all telcos gimmick to cloud your judgement selling you underprice phone from RRP. Yes very attractive but the plan the bundled along will actually cover or gain far more profit from selling you with that price.

Again, if you buy phone separately, you will not tied with contract, meaning more freedom to jump ship if the service sucks. Telcos are schrewed and they have calculated the ROI when launching the bundle plan. tongue.gif

Grey has more demand, hence higher price. Hard to find one that is less then RM2k in the market

This is weird. Installed Papago M9, and yet even tho it can detect correctly my Note reso (1280*800), it can't detect Note II's reso. It's running smaller than the screen.

did you copy the NaviSea folder into the root folder of the internal storage?

Grey price already dropped once SME confirmed to come into market around 3~2 weeks ago. Right now it has slowed down enough, and still cheaper than SME

Yes I did.

Just to share how powerful is this beast. Is my 5th day owning it and my 2nd time charge after 1st charge on day 1. Got multi view function & everything seem ok.

Only 1 thing I found weird, internet appear dimmer compare to chrome. Can someone open chrome & internet to compare the brightness? Is it both under same brightness or chrome is brighter than internet?

Internet you mean, the stock browser? Internet got it own brightness setting.. default setting is auto brightness.. go check your Internet setting under 'Brightness/Colour' and change it to your own preference..
*
Yes, the stock browser, the problem is once I set brighter under the internet brightness setting, the main brightness setting will follow as well which I dont want. Just that chrome dont give me this problem.
