I know about this product called SkinCerity - it is like a liquid band-aid and it prevents trans epidermal water loss (moisture loss). I understand it stops the itching immediately upon contact and it does not thin the skin (like cortison). It does have vitamin E and grapeseed oil in it. If you want more information, please let me know. Thanks

Would like to contribute 2 cents here. My daughter have some heat rash all over her face which look like eczema when it getting serious. I was so worried and started to look for info before trace back to here. I followed the advise of some to use the organic bath/lotions. I bought the moogoo starter pack in hope it will helps. The lotion does work at certain point but not as effective as the medicine given by the pediatric doctor which we consult at the same time. Just in case someone have similar case like me, please consult specialist first and don go for GP doctor or those abc xyz lotions. Some may say "i have consult multiple specialist but still the same". I would say that just you and your baby not yet found the right doctor who can prescribe the right medicine. We was given some cream and some sort of liquid to wash over the rash (purple colour). Over night it all gone. The lotions is working but in mild and very gentle way which is good but if you consider the baby keep on scratch her face then you will know the lotion work not fast in enough. Hope this help abit.

Buds Organic Infant cream work wonder for my son's eczema, they do have Buds Eczema care series too. Other than that, it's advisable to rub your lo face every time after feeding with a warm handkerchief. Keep your lo's skin clean and dry. Apply cream/virgin coconut oil (VC0) after every rub.
You can visit my store for Buds Eczema care series/VCO product.

It may be better to bring your baby to see a paediatrician / child specialist doctor rather than trying to self-medicate. My baby's paediatrician prescribed some cream to apply and after a while the problem went away. The paediatrician also advised to use moisturizer at the same time as the cream and prescribed the moisturizer as well, which we cannot find from pharmacies.
Sometimes, we may also not know what exactly the issue is, whether it is eczema or some other skin disorder. The doctor can diagnose and tell you what is the best solution. And you can also ask for suggestions from the doctor as to what other products can be used. Usage of other products may aggravate the problem.

Just to share, my child has eczema since 1 yr old. She often scratch till bleeding and she can't sleep well because of the itchiness. The pediatric always give us steroid cream and antihistamine, but it doesn't work anymore. We tried every single cream in the pharmacy. They never work.
We ended up going to Taipei TCM Medical Centre at Kepong, although I usually don't believe in chinese medicine. The medicine cost us a bomb around rm300, which include something to bath, a cream and a supplement. But the effect was instantaneous. Her red rashes just gone the next day. After a few months, the rashes came back again and we repeat the whole ordeal again. I'm hoping she will outgrow it soon, or else I might just go bankrupt.

A combination of DIY shea butter + virgin coconut oil + argan oil + blended raw cucumber + red tomato should take care of the issue. The above don't cost rm300+ but it will keep it in check.
