Careful with siyah. If you UV too much, might be bad for ya. Back to Perseus for a more fun siyah. My phone hates siyah don't know why. Always lag on siyah even without UV

QUOTE(Dark_Angel85 @ Oct 5 2012, 12:23 PM) I used to have lagging problems with 1.6.3 and above... quite bad... not just any minor lag... which made me revert to stock kernel for quite a while actually. However, ever since 1.6.5, the kernel has been... what can I say, brilliant. I actually OC -100 for all but GPU untouched. Hmm..thinking if want to revert back to Siyah. How's your experience with Siyah now?I undervolt at the most at -50Mhz for CPU. OC-ed GPU just 1-2 steps. It's the touchscreen boost and the charging mVs that I really prize. Maxed out on those. The audio, well, too minor differences to be noticed. Since the default media player already does have decent equalizer presets, eargasm really does minor improvements only. Roughly how long battery last? |

QUOTE(Porie @ Oct 5 2012, 08:24 PM) try flashing a theme ? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1840290 mine no problem, try click menu and edit page, nothing happens QUOTE(Dark_Angel85 @ Oct 5 2012, 08:27 PM) Sorry... Never had good battery life on any kernel. I play games, go online too often. I'll have to charge midday no matter how much I tweak for battery life without compromising on performance... A full wipe will solve the problem?Ever since in my pre Android N900 days up to now. Charging mid day has been my routine. Systemui messed up. Reflashing back Rom might help |

QUOTE(Dark_Angel85 @ Oct 5 2012, 09:31 PM) Reflashing the Rom you're at right now. No need to wipe. For example, let's say you're on wanam v3.7 now, just flash it again. Cool... Let's see if that works. Recently I noticed that happened when I flashed thunderbolt. Could that be the reason? Pika's thunderbolt been great and kinda weird that happens. Added on October 5, 2012, 9:54 pm QUOTE(Noobi3 @ Oct 5 2012, 09:20 PM) Hey guys , I dunno if this has been posted b4 but I'm posting it anyway . I would say this was a 'hit' somewhere last week. People was freak out because of this. Well lucky for a few who tried that and didn't worked on the phone. Dear S3 user , the USSD code to factory data reset a Galaxy S3 is *2767*3855# can be triggered from browser like this: <frame src="tel:*2767*3855%23" /> If you see any advertisement or free apps specific just for S3 only , DO NOT GO TO THE WEB! And you are safe with Chrome browser. Get a Chrome browser or update to the latest firmware Well, always been with chrome so...... And I don't click ads on sites unless really 'yummy'... Haha reminds me of being careful is important! This post has been edited by nicregi: Oct 5 2012, 09:54 PM |

QUOTE(jiant @ Oct 5 2012, 10:42 PM) 1. Turn off phone2. Power button + Volume Up + Home button at same time until you see a MS-dos screen up 3. Select backup first. 4. Wipe data 5. Select install from zip (and choose the Rom or kernel you earlier saved on your sd card) and it will auto flash for you. Just make sure that you download the CWM version and not the Odin one. |

QUOTE(elmodistortion @ Oct 6 2012, 07:00 PM) GUys, today morning, went to work for IT activity. one of the maxis engineer told me that LTE for maxis already in Kelana jaya and TTDI. but not annpunce to public. the maximum LTE is 20mbps. and if you work area KLCC, maxis capped to 2mbps for HSDPA. O.O seriously? When la Celcom and Digi want to have it? just sharing info. Update: Currently on latest siyah with -100 UV and -25 for GPU. Seems same battery life with Medium Phenomenal and Perseus. Thinking if I wanna push further. Added on October 6, 2012, 7:13 pm QUOTE(doggydogg @ Oct 6 2012, 07:09 PM) you should google "exfat vs fat32" for more info. Usually after first flash also my phone goes hot. I consider that as a stage for 'preparing' the new rom. Give it a night and see if that changes soon.basically, if you use fat32 you got file size limit. commom prob is you cant transfer any single file more than 4gb guys, i just flashed to latest wanam, with full wipe, doing restores and download now. the phone appear to be unusually warm @.@ Added on October 6, 2012, 7:20 pmGuys, I am thinking of changing to Criskelo's rom from Omega. What do you think? Anyone using Criskelo's? How is it? This post has been edited by nicregi: Oct 6 2012, 07:20 PM |
