Multiple-Region Stacking Games

What Is a Stacking Game?
Some games may have different publishers or studios for different regions, or simply different trophy coding. For example, the trophy list for Region 1 may appear to be identical but when comparing trophies, it may appear as a separate list to the trophy list from Region 2 or 3. This is known as "Stacking".

As a result, gamers who own copies of such a game but from different regions will be able to Platinum it twice or more, depending on how many separate Trophy Lists there are in existence.

All trophy hunters sifus, let me ask you guys a question... Is there any game/games that you guys gave up on platting it?? As in the game is too annoying or some of the trophies are just annoying or hard to get that you gave up??? Because i see that most of you got like over hundred plat... So i want to see if there's anything that stop you guys from platting a game~

there's only 2 sifu here with over 100 plats, that i know of
as for me, with my mere 30+ plats, games that i cant seem to plat are racing games, fighting games(got no skills) and some other reason (like army of 2 with it's laggy server, trophies that need to beat world record, and etc)

how bout urself, care to share ur reason, if any...

Hmm... so far i have no plat yet, but i have some left like 1 or 2 trophies, just that i'm waiting till i got no game to play, then i'll plat all of them in a go... but i've gave up on some fighting games and er.... batman... most of the time, i'm just lazy to try anymore...

Only 2 guys got more than 100 lah and some others maybe quite close but not yet to that number.

I started playing early but did not jump on the trophy hunting bandwagon until this thread came along so about one third to half of my recorded games will probably never be platted (eg Fuel, NBA 2k11, NFS Hot Pursuit, etc etc). Its just a matter of no time.

as for lost planet 2, the grind to lvl 99 for all faction is tiring, not to mention the break world record to get a title, just to get that all title trophy

FIFA 13 is gonna be a chore with the FUT trophy including 1 luck-based one.

YJ, the last time out how much additional u spend on the FIFA 12 FUT packs?

Rm100+, but I earned it back when I sold the cards on Ebay. And no, Rm100+ isn't enough to get the trophies. I probably spent another 50 hours boosting between my two PS3s to earn coins and buy players from Auction House, and create team-transfer starting players-delete team-repeat, to get up to 85 million club value.

Frankly speaking real money isn't going to help with the trophies, because real money can only be used to buy booster packs. Booster packs contain 12 cards, with maximum of 4 players whereas you'll struggle to sell the remaining 8 consumable cards.

The best way to raise club value is to buy cheap players through Auction, and you can only do that with ingame coins, which means playing the game.

Putting it into perspective, one normal Gold Boost Pack costs 5,000 coins or RM4. For 4 players, that's 1250 coins each. One normal gold player is worth about 100-150k in Club Value (Need to get 85 million Club Value for trophy).

From the auction house, you can buy 4x Gold Players for 300 coins each and get the same club value. So with 5000 coins you can get 16 Gold Players from Auction House compared to 4 Gold Players from Booster Pack

Of course if you get super lucky and hit a gold mine from the Booster Pack, then you can sell that off and use the profit to buy more packs or players from Auction House. Unfortunately I've never had much luck when it comes to these trading card games.

I can see how the FUT is being very addictive after reading some of the other forums even if not for trophy hunting but for people who want to build their favorite collection (eg like a trading card thing).

If you spent hours boosting between yourself means u got another copy of the game Hahaha, time for me to rent from Heavy again *LOL* Or if you don't plan to sell it off so quick, we can take turns lending disc (bloody game got XP cap daily limit otherwise I would reach higher levels by now). Wonder if my 3-yr old PS3 can handle the strain coz already hang kei a few times.

While I'm not to stress out about building a team to my liking, the pulling of a player that belongs to a TOTW, that kinda sucks. So random for that trophy.

This year's version you don't need 2 copies to boost. In fact I think it is impossible to boost any longer

But there is an exploit that allows you to earn coins now by playing Single Player Seasons.
Keep playing all the way up to Division 1 and each time you win the season you get 5k coins + 1 Gold Pack.

But I think since you are probably Legendary level you don't need to do all the above as I just promote myself to Semi Pro level. Last night trashing teams by more than 5 goals gets pretty boring at Amateur level.

I just start the UT exploit and let it run on one of my PS3s, then play something else on the other PS3.

Gonna play RDR Co-Op missions todays, or might start Borderlands DLC.

I'm too lazy to do the FIFA Ultimate Team trophies man .. the 85 mil one will take awhile. Also waiting for someone from Ps3trophies to come up with a quick way to get career trophies.

Anyways, just got the platinum for LA Noire with DLCs. Decent game but the collectibles were just annoying, lol. Wasn't too much of a hassle but 95 vehicles is one I hated but eventually had no problems with it.

Plat-ed Borderlands 2!

plat NGS+ hardest plat in my list, but total worth it. even though they feature 'enchantment items' most of them are very risky to use esp in master ninja mode

Damn, I'm getting too old to continue grinding away for trophies. FIFA 13 has a lot of grinding to do (unless I want to pay for the FUT trophies). Borderlands 2 will have a lot of grinding later as well. A few pending games of mine has plenty of grinding leftover till I fell asleep with controller in my hands.

Yeah, I may take break from FIFA for awhile too or at least after I get majority of the non-grinding trophies away. I'm having some fun with my Virtual Pro though. Played for an Liverpool then they send me on loan to Preston North End (Div 2 team). Skill level now improved from Amateur to Semi Pro but need more practice to go higher.

How to get Bros trophy in Fifa 13? trophy description says need to play with a guest in a season mode match. But i cant find any button to invite a guest

In the team kit selection screen, press triangle on 2nd controller.

Yeah, grinding for trophies is so time consuming .. I actually can't spend so much time on a game except if it's COD LOL!

For many games .. I just get their offline trophies and leave at that. I've got FIFA Street, FIFA 10, FIFA 11, FIFA 12, GTA and alot of other games which I don't really bother anymore XD

Yeah thats the one and that doesn't lead u to trophy but just one of the steps needed to get it.

Anyway looks like BDL2 have even more emphasis on co-op because single player is genuinely much tougher than the 1st game. It'll be faster if you play co-op especially once you reach the higher levels.

Finally found a TOTW player in a FUT pack. Weeeee ~~ Got the In Form trophy.

Meh plating all 3 basara hd is like a pain in the arse for my ps3!
2 stupid trophies -to achieve a total of 100 hrs gameplay for basara 1 and basara 2:heroes,
all trophies in this 2 games can be done in 60hrs means you have to turn on ps3 doing nothing for another 140hrs...

*LOL* perhaps its a conspiracy for Sony to ask game publishers to do this so we leave our PS3's on for grinding, makes it wear out faster and later by a new set

Yeah that's the confirmation that i need... i find it wired that Sony has not patch this up for the PS3 as in the VITA we are able to see both Trophy list.
