QUOTE(kizwan @ Jul 16 2016, 10:33 PM) Nice! Did it auto land too? It has an autoland and auto takeoff but i prefer manual landing because it might target the wrong landing lane later. Best to auto land is when its in bigger grassy field.------------------------------------------------ Oh btw here another one doing 20.4km endurance flight this morning. QUOTE(zeroglyph @ Jul 29 2016, 04:31 PM) on the GPS, i dont know of any diy FC that can handle GPS flight perfectly. at least not cleanflight and librepilot based FC. so if your concern is GPS RTH and stuff like that, better don't DIY and go for something like CX-20. Btw don't by CX-20! has lot of QC problem. My buddy losses capacitor on ESC due cold soldering from factory and one of the motor shaft clips broke off from flight. Similar reported at most multirotor forum. Google it. |

QUOTE(ZZR-Pilot @ Aug 2 2016, 12:01 PM) Are you using APM..? Yup, used APM because it has many untapped feature and function possibilities. But not many people going into it because it need slight learning curve to get it running. Some people go for shortcuts like getting DJI NAZA flight controller for multirotor and ARKBIRD/CYCLOPS flight controller for planes for easy on the go setup. After a month's worth of reading, I reckon this is the best bang for the buck for GPS flying. Found one going for US$26 and a plug-in GPS for another US$14, shipping US$5... that's under RM200 for a GPS-capable FC... could not argue much against APM at that price. I'll start building in Oct. |

QUOTE(wallydragon @ Aug 22 2016, 02:29 PM) Thanks wallydragon. QUOTE(josh5671 @ Aug 26 2016, 11:10 AM) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1XHD...#gid=1787130452 Sound like "PID" problem. Did you already adjust the Yaw gain? or did you already calibrated each ESC throttle end point? Now I had a Deadcat 450 Quad build as above. Spec: 2212 980kv cheapo 2 blade 1045 3s 5200mah Naza Lite-M Radiolink AT9 And I notice this craft are heavy wobble when I rotate the craft (of course in air). I know when landing craft hitting its own propwash will cause that, but rotate direction I don think will. Two weeks ago, when I flying. It sudden wobble crash to ground ( i think only 2~3 meter from ground, testing flight) And after event I cant see / detect any wrong. So I make it air again, and it hovering 10~15 seconds normal, and it wobble crash again. I call that no/minor damage, and I fly and hover it last sunday about 15minute (got landing) it work well....quite strange(i set gain to all 100%,minor wobble still there) Any I got the idea to get few RCT800 arm from RCTimer make my Deadcat style to 800..will it work well? (not talking motor yet) Or I should get F550 center plate + 800 arm + 500~600kv 3s pre-solder motor + 13~16inch props? Thats my idea, please give the suggestion. thank you QUOTE(akecema @ Aug 31 2016, 04:08 PM) [attachmentid=7432444] Happy merdeka day guys, glad to see everyone enjoying holidays flying. Video - My 72.6km flight with storm and heavy rains.
You guys wanna see mini UAV wing wing Z-84 in such extreme condition?. No other plane would able to survive this one! Flown with electronic flooded with rain water but manage to survive mother nature ultimate fury. Seeing is believing. I'm proud of my mini UAV plane. Yes the plane still alive today after 4 days of drying under the hot sun. Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HmAk4bcoZc -------------------------------------------------------------------- QUOTE(akecema @ Sep 9 2016, 05:19 PM) bro My max discharge for Li-On pack which is now in 4s pack is 1.3A. Actually it can max up to 10A for 3 seconds but recommended for constant throttle is at 3A below. But for me i'd rather go lower for longer endurance. Li-On doesn't like punchy demand unlike Li-po.can explain about your li-ion battery how much max discharge your battery? i though wanna build 1 li-ion battery but i check my battery (xiaomi powerbank battery) only 1.5c max discharge This post has been edited by SupermotoXL: Sep 16 2016, 11:44 PM |
