I wouldn't mind a PG Nu  whistling.gif

Admiral, since we're on the discussion on the possibilites of kits release, can you give me your verdict on possibility of HGUC or MG Deep Striker?  laugh.gif

Your loves of Ex-S and its variations knows no bound laugh.gif while i do love Ex-S as well but Deep Striker chances are slim just like Nightingale. In the novel, it was not actually made and existed just on paper, thus it has never actually existed just like GP04. In that regard i'll actually said its chances are even lower then Nightingale. Even if Bandai could recycle some frame, they still hav to make a whole new set of arm, "leg", chest, and BFG. Its current prices is already in the upper echelon of their respective grades, with Deep Striker it'll cost even more and i dun think Bandai would venture into that. Not to mention its design is abit unbalance, without any stronger support (ie die cast or redesign or something) the sholder cannon would probably just flop around. Plus just like Beltorchika's Children, Sentinel ended ages ago and it was not translated nor release outside of Jpn (officially anyway, fans translation does not count). Recent trend does not look good on such kits with such a history. Just like Nightingale, ur only chances is if there is a sudden resurgence or a remake of Sentinel and how long is the hiatus between the end of Age and beginning of new series and also how desperate Bandai in those times is since there is plenty more other kits Bandai could make that has potential to generate more $$$$, especially all those obscure, easily reuse design mecha porn that is Unicorn epi4. If anything, i'll say the other variation of Ex-S (the 1 where the feet is blue instead of red and the orange is black) has a better chances then Deep Striker, at least that 1 is just a recolor.

I kno there is a fix figuration of it but Fix Figuration is abit weird in their releases, even stuff like Xii and Penelope from Hathaway Flash was made i couldnt figure out its pattern.

It looks like somebody was trying to transform the kit, gave up halfway through and threw it on the table.

laugh.gif terrible way to display, but at least the frame and transformation can be seen rather clearly
i suppose there is justification to the concern regarding the frame being fragile, but i'm still looking forward to it, regardless laugh.gif

I find the v-fin interesting though. I don't think the MG 2.0 folds up like that.

yes it does
here's an image of it, sans the front U shaped part of the V-fin, but it doesn't fold up as neatly as the RG imo.

Yeah I know it folds up, but what I meant was the RG folding bits looked a lil awkward, guess I'm just used to the MG 2.0 look. They prob did that to avoid the problems ppl would have unfolding the chest later. I know my v-fins are super bent right now.

Little off-topic question here:

I was srsly considering the purchase of the HGUC GABTHLEY after seeing the built here. As usual I googled it for a closer look. Found this pic (showing for comparison):

...well, and here is, what I found shocking.gif :

Fuuuuuu, poisend good doh.gif ! Where the hell is this kit coming from? It seems to be korean, but the link given for the picture (pleasure-produce) doesn't work anymore.

Anybody knowing anything about this kit or the homepage?

lol cant compare liddat one
RG Zeta is latest release with improved technology while MG Zeta Plus is an old MG with some issue
and RG Zeta is said to be a transformable MS without need to swap parts.. does that a good news?

your choice may different though.. not anyone like 1/144 scale.. not anyone like 1/100 scale cool.gif

true but Zeta+ is old and its frame is not as good, it has some problems like what nazrul said.

There is also the issue of shelf space, not every1 could afford to display MGs on their shelf especially if u pose with it. Like me for instance i uses detolf (very common among modelers) an average size shelf, with MG the most I could display in a shelf is 4 (with posing of course if its all just standing straight i could cramp in more but whats the point posing it standing straight right) for Ex-S it occupied an entire shelf by itself.... Luckily for me i dun collect every MG there is, and i select my MG very strictly base on my own preferences thus my collection is small. But some ppl hav very lose preferences and they buy alot, shelf spaces comes at a premium to them. In the past, their only choices is to either buy less or buy small aka HG but HG is not very satisfying its quite basic, simple to build and offer no challengers. The RG line cater to these ppl perfectly, with details of MG (some even more), articulation of MG, but come at the size of HG. Price shouldn't be an issue to them even if they could get a MG, they will still go for RG anytime anyday.
