In my case, i was started with Gundam Seed & Destiny and i like Freedom and Strike back then as i watch 00 and some UC series, my taste on gundam have change to liking suit that was heavily armed or that look cool (im guilty of this biggrin.gif). One thing that still bug me is that i dislike the RX-78-2 design and it's counterpart like Strike and Age-1, for some reason it don't click on me with the exception of Gundam Mk-II.

My favourite suits have always been UC. The Zeta, MK-II, Sinanju, Nu, Kampfer and Sazabi will always be right up there for me, in my opinion not many new suits have the 'personality' of these suits.

I find the v-fin interesting though. I don't think the MG 2.0 folds up like that.

yes it does
here's an image of it, sans the front U shaped part of the V-fin, but it doesn't fold up as neatly as the RG imo.

Yeah I know it folds up, but what I meant was the RG folding bits looked a lil awkward, guess I'm just used to the MG 2.0 look. They prob did that to avoid the problems ppl would have unfolding the chest later. I know my v-fins are super bent right now.

In that review he talks as if the Nu gundam is expected to transform like the Unicorn, and the fact that it has limited transformation makes it underwhelming. I've not seen many reviews lately that understand the function of the transformation is not to mimic the Unicorn but rather the last ditch attempt Amuro puts in during the psycommu thingy resonation while pushing Axis away from Earth. The position of the thrusters on the backpack in the transformed mode shows that. Perhaps the funnel connection bit is frustrating, but the transformation to me is an added bonus
