True, I rather see Gio/Quag in that match. Other than that shot that Vuci made which Constant blocked, i dont see any other significant contribution.

Note that we went blank against a defence that was previously manned by Nesta and Silva. Comparatively we should be slicing their defence like butter this time round .

I think Pirlo and Vidal deserve their rest this weekend. His body is being too damaged by playing too often.

Quag should start every match from now on as he needs consistent play time to regain his confidence and sense of scoring. Without a doubt he's our best goal-scorer right now, Alessio isn't helping him by rotating him out of play and starving him of consistency. I wished Carrera was still our interim manager .

Nevertheless, Milan played a great game and outplayed us. Even without that penalty, we would have lost the match anyway.

well what i say that without that penalty, Milan might continue to rape our back 3 even more mercilessly and then scored more goals via normal play. I do agree that if the PK did not happen, 0-0 might still happen.

You can see that after the PK, their momentum went down, and we almost came back into the game.

Torino is a tricky match, will we field a 2nd string team in a derby? The good thing Marc can go all out in this match. I expect to see Lucio and Marrone in the match. Anyway there's rumours that Lucio is leaving?

Since carceres is out with injury, Lucio might have a chance to play, but I'm still not that fond of him. So far he's been terribly slow in our 3-man defence . I rather have Marrone play the make shift defender, or even Pepe.

Sometimes I wish we signed Nesta on a free transfer rather than Lucio.

Anyway 3 man shortlist is out for Ballon award, Messi, Ronaldo and Iniesta. Not surprised, Pirlo is not exactly a favourite in the world given the lack of hype give to him, not to mention the fact that he always looks sleepy

it still stumps me why Pirlo/Vidal is our regular PK taker when we got strikers to do the job. I think even Gio/Quag/Vuci are better PK takers

But Pirlo has a erratic and inconsistent way of taking PK, as you can see during his time in Milan and also his time with the national team.

I hope's its not just because of "face" problem he gets priority in taking penalties...

I don't mind, Buffon proved that he has skill with legs. He even manage to dribble pass Torres in Euro!

Yeah...or Bonucci can also...since he used to play as a striker in his early days

Well i rather face a strong, seeded team than a weak team. Smaller clubs have always been our bogey club.

Vuci was never a goal scorer to begin with. He's role is more of a support striker, and he goes for the chance himself at the least expected time. That explains the random shots as he needs that element of surprise that ppl think he's going to give the ball to the striker and yet he went in for himself.

Quag on the other hand is a goal scorer. His finishing is probably the most deadly among all our strikers, but given his small stature like Giovinco, the moment he get marked by 1 or 2 defenders, very likely he'll lose the ball.

The solution? Suspect that's why Marc / Vidal occasionally bomb forward as the extra no 9. Both of them has more muscles than any of our strikers, apart from Matri.

Matri is still a good striker in my honest opinion. He really just lacks match play time. We should have start him from the start of the season so that he can gain enough match confidence and consistency. Right now when consistency matters, its very very hard to start him. That's why we keep on startin Gio + Vuci/Quag and the moment we hit our stride and get 1-2 goals ahead, Matri will be subbed in. However, i think this will only damage his confidence further if he doesn't score in the short time he's give on the pitch.

I double we'll grab falcao in the jan transfer window, more likely we'll get Llorente given that he only have 6 months left in his contract, and we can sign him FOC under bosman for next season if he doesnt get released.

i doubt so...i dont think marotta is willing to splurge more than 10mil for a player right now...

I think we're all prepared to let him have the number 10 shirt. I think the number 10 shirt is left empty this season as a sign of respect to ADP. I'm not surprised if his number changed next season.

Yeah & quite impressed with Inter's spirit, which has been missing the past few years.......
they might not be ready to challenge for the title this season but i think they will be incredibly strong next season...

After watching the highlights....Bonucci yellow card was really stupid, he should have just shot regardless whether he scores or not instead of trying to round the cable and got his feet tangled up

Lucio clearly on his way out. Even with Bonucci suspended, conte opted for a MF to take his place rather than the old man
