QUOTE(theprobe @ Mar 4 2013, 01:14 PM) Seeing Vucinic i vomit blood. Who says we just need a top striker. We need a top Second Striker too. Vucinic blows hot and cold too often not reliable at all. Its like playing with luck. see today he mood good he play well tml next gain mood bad play poor. We could have gone 9 pts up and that is very impt considering we are gunning for CL too. Next season: a top SS to partner Llorente. Vucinic -> bench his ass QUOTE(noir7559 @ Mar 4 2013, 02:12 PM) if llorente is the automatic starter next season i'm sure gio would partnered him as the 2nd striker instead of that lazyass & moody vucinic.. seeing how cavani chasing the ball n helping his teammates defend was a stark contrast to vuci who gave little to no effort to chase the ball and when he got it he wastes it zzzz QUOTE(uzary @ Mar 5 2013, 08:42 AM) Gio is good enough to be SS to Llronte. He's quick and force freekicks outside the box. However, despite his efforts at defending....Gio just gets squashed like being tramped on like an ant by elephants Hopefully Llorente's arrival will serve as a competition to Matri. I see major improvement to Matri's gameplay starting this year. Otherwise, the other SS choice, I rather pick Quag over Vuci. |

QUOTE(noir7559 @ Mar 6 2013, 10:23 AM) preferable lineup tonight guys? Knowing Conte, I doubt he'll play it that way this weekend. He might rest Chiellio and Marc, I don't see him resting Vidal/Pirlo.on one hand i hope Conte would just start with 2nd squad...maybe to the extent of primavera players seeing that we nearly have one foot in QF. And conserved some energy for league match in the weekend. on the other hand after the end of the last UCL match antics i'm hoping for a no less than the double-digit scoreline aggregate...or close so what will it be? *and one important note is that Lich,March,Vidal are one yellow card away from suspension. So i don't know if Conte would start either one of em. But i think its Vidal considering he gonna miss Catania match on the weekend due to a suspension He'll probably push the players to "vomit" blood again Let's slaughter em! QUOTE(theprobe @ Mar 6 2013, 02:27 PM) And most of those UK bastards write us off.. after the Man Utd's loss, fans and pundits alike keep saying those only German teams like FC Bayern n Dortmund has the ability to beat Real now.. and none of them mentioned about us. Well, we shall see. To be honest, I dont mind us getting Dortmund or Fc Bayern in the next round. I am quietly optimistic about our chances this yr. i got the exact same feeling at euro 2012 , and we did go all the way to the final but was unfortunate to meet the great national team ever. So we shall see Yeap, not that afraid to meet spanish clubs anyway, our structured play usually disrupts their gameplay. And if we can win it, it will silence those goons from UK. All of them bastards and their fans over there and in Asia Euro 2012 we failed is mostly due to improper tactics & misfortunes, the match could have turned to our favour if we stuck to 3-5-2 and and choke the midfield. Not to mention Motta got injured in a freak accident and we ran out of subs. |

QUOTE(ZeroSP @ Mar 6 2013, 05:17 PM) That's the spirit... We Italia supporters think alike. That's the power of marketing and language for ya No matter UCL, World Cup, Euro or whatever shit... People loves to write us off, laugh at us, especially England people they always think they are so good but in the end they are the one that can't do anything. Oh well, I hope most of our players come out unscathed after tonight's match |

Well...we might see Quag has more play time this season...Matri read his intentions really well this morning's match.
Quag - Matri Vuci - Gio Bendtner - ? (too bad for him...not really given him the chance to prove himself). |

QUOTE(noir7559 @ Mar 7 2013, 06:55 PM) they knew their team have nothing to play for. But kudos to the celtic fans who traveled to Italy last night.. Well, how can we play at top speed without Marc, Lich and Asamoah it take something special to support ur team when u know u have slim to none chances to progress whatsoever and ppl whose familiar with football knows we are not playing at top speed last night either...bcoz we didn't need to now one task is done..lets move to Catania to try to strengthen our position on the top Anyway heard Chiellio aggrav his injury and out again for a few matches? |

Quag and Matri can act as backup, heck those 3 can even be played in a rotation basis. |

QUOTE(estcin @ Mar 15 2013, 02:10 PM) Not all players will jump ship for money. Fortunately we had loyal players like Nedved, Buffon and Trezeguet who stayed and help us fight back into Serie A Yes, thats why they became legends. But what I'm saying as you can't blame those that jumped ship. After all their career is only so short, after age 35++, they can't really earn and most of them were at their peak that time. Sports is just not a sustainable career espec when it comes to old age.Italian league is not like BPL or la liga where the players are paid a mansion. The earning power for players in the italian league relatively avg/low compared to other leagues. and How can you not mentioned ADP in your list who who stayed back???? |

Yeap..Balo's been in terrific form in Milan, and his attitude has changed as well. When El Sharrawy subbed in....those 2 had telepathic understanding of each other o.O. We should be wary of them...
With El Sharrawy maturing so fast...I think Cassano needs to work much harder haha.. |

I think this match serve as wake up call to us... After the first goal, the team just blacked out...
Its just too bad Buffon was having his off-day on Tuesday... To be frank I had a feeling Bayern studied Buffon thoroughly. Buffon likes to parry shots instead of holding them, you can see it when bayern was at the correct spot to hit the ball in for the 2nd goal after Buffon parried it. Juve getting to the QF is already something to be proud of. I don't expect to progress any further to be frank, we are still in the process of rebuilding. Still I hope we don't bow out without a fight. Hopefully we could do what Arsenal almost did Next season will be a season to reckoned with...can't wait with the addition of Llorente |

QUOTE(Jusstatic @ Apr 4 2013, 11:54 PM) Haha. we never expect anyone of our strikers to have even half of their abilities... but at least have some decent control.. Matri and Quag can terrorize Serie A defenses and weaker CL teams.. But to come up against FC Bayern is too much to ask la.. Cannot dribble nevermind.. at least hold up.. cant hold up 8/10 balls at least do a 3 or 4/10 la... but goddamn those two went on disappearing acts and when ball goes to them... 1 or 2/10 they hold.. Second leg cannot start both.. as much as i hate to say Vucinic on a bad day can still hold the ball up way way better than those two QUOTE(noir7559 @ Apr 5 2013, 08:46 AM) at all the bolded part. Yes if we go out..we should go out with a fight. Seeing Amori on fire now...does anyone miss him? and to be honest we have nothing to lose currently. We're not favorites. We've around 20% chances to march to semis(make it 15% bcoz we're against Bayern). So we can go all out next week. Who knows we can did the "15%" and that would be awesome In these situations...you really wish you loaned Toni for 1 more year |

QUOTE(noir7559 @ Apr 5 2013, 11:46 AM) without a shadow of doubt either one of Quag/Matri would be able to score a hat-trick against Pescara or both would Rotten luck, as Carceres is out too...But Peluso should do fine, his form has stabilized recently. Heck, Marrone might come in, shift Chiellio to the flanks....be a able to score a hat-trick.. As another six scoreline would be nice as like we inflicted to em in the earlier fixture and both Lich & Vidal for sure will start against Pescara since they've no involvement against Bayern but i really really really hope Conte would rested Pirlo against pescara. Worst case scenario is that Pirlo gonna start and play 90 full minutes Yeap Toni might be old but at least he can hold the ball...and his headers are still useful! I still remember IMBA header outside the pk box.... |
