Out of favour since arrival of Teves and Lorente

as well as osvaldo form. vucinic is a good player but he has his 'off' day too often.

yup i also understand in this case, however regarding our second half performance in other matches , we kinda take it too easy which sometime can cost us.

the 2nd half was not that bad, but those coming in 2nd half should try harder. putting padoin also does not give any value, might want to try new bloods since we are leading comfortably anyway

Yeah, quite average by Juve standard. Buffon had to make 2 world class saves. Lyon also has quite share of possession.

The mids and attackers were good, but still finishing is lacking. Man marking was heavy on Tevez. No magic from Vucinic.

It's hard to switch to 4-3-3, unless we sacrifice possession. Pirlo also will not have the freedom like he always has been protected by 2 ball winners. Maybe Pirlo should not play at all.

Unless we have strong young forwards who can jog down to help the defence we can play 4-3-3. Or maybe just Llorente as lone striker with 4-5-1, we need in form Vidal and another mids who can score goals. Last year we have Pogba/marchisio scoring occassionally, but seems not this year.

dunno how long conte can manage his sideline stamina. maybe when he reach 50+ he will be like lippi, just sit and smoke cigar!

to me, the game was not that bad. benfica scored early when juve was not settled in and another one from just a few attacking flow they have. some few misses from benfica, aside from that buffon does not need to work much.

juve did convert more chances, if not for good goal keeping, we could had won.

marchisio was best of the midfields, he stepped up when pirlo could not do much. too bad he could not convert the last chance.

The selection of strikers is questionable though. why play vucinic when gio is currently in much better form, and putting in osvaldo?

2nd half it's raining already, it put's a lot of energy and harder to control the ball. even benfica missed 1 clear chance.

there certainly lack of quality ball into penalty box, and since benfica defend in numbers and refuse to go up, good cross is important. anyway we tested the goal keeper, and vidal almost scored. pirlo also delivered well.

we need more depth next year, can win serie A, but still not going high in europe

Pepe might play after we secure the title, just to have some appearance to get the SerieA medal.

He was good worker until his injury. Not sure how much it affect his work rate. He is 30+ now, not a good age for a fast wing or wingback. maybe on top of 4-3-3 where no defence is required, but still, he is not young anymore.

I prefer a young blood, or at least in region of 27.

the scoreline didn't gave Juve any justice...we totally dominated Chievo from the start to finish

and hopefully we can do the same in UCL too, Forza Juve!

there were many chances, just that the finishing is not sharp enough. probably still adjusting on start of the season

Allegri still uses 3-5-2, which worries me considering there is no 12th player like conte shouting at the sideline. however, as long as evra/lienchteiner can track back quickly, we have solid defence. just that we need more energtic players who can cover them, and bonucci need to start doing his long ball assists again.

midfield we missed pirlo, but not vidal smile.gif marchisio/pogba covering well, and asamoah moved to center without hiccup.

interested to see how morata play from first minute together with tevez, and coman too smile.gif

milan was playing very defensively and just rely on the counter to get goal. but the team played well to pass the ball and recover when needed smile.gif

yeap they're exploiting their own strength (the pace of Menez, SES) to hit us on a counter on our slow defender

eventhough if u noticed when Juve take the lead they tend to sit back and invite the opposing team to attack
and try to hit em on a counter (a-la Conte style) but we have to admit we're far from being the best counter
attacking teams like Dortmund/Real Madrid/Napoli etc..maybe till the likes of pacy Coman or Morata starts
*
yeah we still lack pace, that's why pirlo still important atm smile.gif and our wingbacks lienchtiener/asamoah to work hard. great to see evra slot well with the team, just waiting for Coman/Morata to explode.
