I think marchisio did better than Pogba in the def mid role. at the moment he is not in the goal-scoring form, but as midfielder he is not bad. and pogba too excel in the more advance role.

I think we will use the same setup against roma. it'll be good to see how we can cope without pirlo with good team as Roma.

to me pirlo played well last night. not many fancy touches like before, just one-two touches before a pin-point pass, just entertaining to watch. those accurate passing is what is missing from marchisio, otherwise he can be permanent replacement for pirlo.

bonucci got back to his clumsy days, but still reliable, and he still has his long passes to look for. just that juve now build the attack with short passes so his passes not that significant unless it produces the goal.

tever was super energetic last night, exchange passes very well with llorente, but llorente seems not that fit. handanovic was excellent otherwise tevez might put in one or two.

I remember during lippi era, he likes to have 3 defenders as well, before it went pretty bad and had to be replaced with 4 defenders during ancellotti and capello. under deschamps, ranieri, ferrara, zach & del neri, this was never changed as well. so indeed conte made revolution when reverting back to 3 defenders.

you just missed a game where juve did not dominate, yet able to win thanks to buffon and the defenders. bonucci saved on the line once, buffon had to parried several shots, midfielders were pressed hard and defenders had to rely on long balls.

pogba was like schooled by de jong, too bad, if vidal was there maybe different story. montilivo got better in marshalling pirlo and marchisio, luckily he was subs for ineffective honda, otherwise milan migth have a goal or two with consistent attack on juve's goal.
